This 3rd generation Freeride, the Freeride Fusion, allows for smooth carving and unrestricted creativity in chop. Shaped by top pro Will Asher, the Balance Fin features a reduced fin length for quick turn rotation combined with a new distribution of surface area for great cross course direction. The Switchblade system takes the guesswork out of fin settings, no calipers needed! Just swap in a new blade shape and you're ready to experience new performance characteristics from your ski. Women's specific flex 30% softer flex to maximize feel for more finesse skiers. Spoon tip provides more buoyant, easy planning surface. Hybrid edge design clean edge technology tail for efficiency and traditional beveled forebody for stability. Clean edge technology reduces drag 50% by allowing water to release cleanly off the bottom of the ski. This differs from conventional edges where water wraps around the bevel, up the sidewall and releases off the upper edge creating suction. The clean edge bevel-less tail produces more acceleration with less skier input. In addition, HO Sports enhanced stability by maintaining more bevel between the rear foot and fin. The result is a fast moving highly efficient ski with the handling required for tight line turns. Clean edge technology is bevel-less and the sidewalls are rotated inward like wakeboard edge, causing water to release cleanly off the ski's bottom surface. This results in a 50% less drag than conventional skis. This low drag back half of the ski means more lift, easier get-ups, less spray & less effort!

The traditional beveled edge in the Freerides front half allows water to wrap around the bottom of the ski and up the sidewall where it finally releases off the ski's top edge. This rounded edge rides deeper in the water for the stability skiers need. HO Sports Freeride is available in multiple lengths depending on the rider's weight range. The 63" (160cm) is designed for skiers weighing up to 110 lbs. (50 kg), the 65" (165cm) is designed for skiers weighing from 110 lbs. to 150 lbs. (50 kg to 68 kg), and the 67" (170.2cm) is designed for skiers weighing over 150 lbs. (68 kg). Ski is designed for recommended tow speeds from 24 mph to 28 mph (38.6 kph to 45 kph).

SBR closed cell foam liner for a natural rubber feel. Composite textile shell is reinforced in the Achilles spine and heel cup for improved durability. Softened over the instep and cuff wings for a more secure fit. 0.4" (10mm) thick, zero-drop, contoured footbed provides a solid platform for improved balance.

This adjustable rear kicker employs a Marshmallow Foam Liner for amazing out-of-the-box comfort and pairs great with the freeMAX boot. The ART's easy to mount and adjust Direct Connect System gives the skier Natural Edge Angle for precise edge control & improved balance. It achieves the industry's shortest flex footprint which virtually eliminates ski flex dead spots so your ski turns as easy as designers intend. The DC system also allows for Micro Adjustment for infinite fore/aft and 7 of rotational adjustment.
