Simply shaped to advance your skills on the wake - Build a solid base. Shaun Murray and Greg Nelson agree that a solid foundation greatly increases a rider's learning curve. Hyperlite introduces the Baseline, shaped specifically for creating that base and solid foundation. The Baseline has wider overall profile built atop a continuous rocker, delivering a smooth carving board that gets more pop off the wake due to its increased surface area. The variable edge design is forgiving between the inserts but then sharpens towards the tip and tail providing the strong edge hold necessary for generating speed into the wake. The Baseline is simple, and both Murray and Nelson agree that "Less is More" in shaping philosophy. The center of the base is clean, clean water flow creates a smooth ride and softer landings, the duel tunnels easily allow water to enter and exit at the Baseline's tip and tail. Take it from two legends, the Baseline is the board for your Wakeboard adventure.
Biolite Core: The secret recipe Hyperlite has been perfecting since day one. This core material is the gold standard in the industry and used throughout Hyperlite's line. Bio 3 is their lightest and most durable formula to date. Monocoque Construction: Integrating the top glass and the bottom glass into one. Generating a more durable board on side impacts to prevent delamination. Layered Glass: Hyperlite's fiberglass is available in 3 weights depending on the board. Over time, traditional woven glass fibers will separate. With layered glass every Hyperlite deck will have the same pop off the double up year after year. Continuous Rocker: The rocker line that started it all. Speed and fluid predictable pop truly define this rocker. Designed to carry great speed into the wake with minimal drag, a Continuous rocker generates a longer trajectory with similar pop every time.
Other great features of the Baseline Wakeboard are dual fin positioning, wide profile, variable edge design, single tunnel with complete exit, M6 inserts and reduced tip and tail thickness. The board measures (L x W) 53.5" x 17" (136 cm x 43.2 cm), with a total surface area of 835" (2,121 cm), has a tip/tail width of 11.25" (28.6 cm), with an abrupt continuous 2.35" (6 cm) rocker height, 4-fin set up of 0.8" (2 cm), stance options of 22.5" and 26.5" (57.2 cm to 67.3 cm), a weight range of 145 lbs. (65.8 kg) and up and a hole pattern offset of 6" (15.25 cm).
The Baseline Wakeboard comes complete with the Remix Boots. No nonsense function and comfort. Solid traditional design. The Remix boot is a supportive but easy-to-get-into adjustable boot. It features dual lace zones like more expensive boots, but the plushness you come to expect from an open-toe. The 3D molded tongue provides maximum comfort with no sacrificed board control. The Remix is an excellent choice for beginner to intermediate riders looking for a comfortable, user-friendly option. Boots are equipped with an aluminum claw mount system that has larger teeth design and aluminum hardware ensure a secure interface. The low pro plate system takes much of what Hyperlite learned from the System binding and incorporates it into a more traditional design. Hyperlite began by reducing the overall volume by nearly 16%, which translates into a much lighter boot. Their drop-through footbed keeps a rider closer to the deck for maximum control and response. To ensure the baseless design did not produce unwanted plate twist Hyperlite connected the sidewalls to chassis create a stronger foundation. Other features of the Remix Boots are dual quick cinch front lace zone, dual density footbed, hyper-plush rear flex zone, adjustable / fixed floating tongue and dual density EVA foam. Boots come in size for foot range of 7 to 10.5.
