BLU3 Nomad Dive System

Nomad is finally here! Now you can explore deeper, without the hassle. Nomad is for experienced divers who want the convenience and simplicity of Nemo but the depth performance for diving deeper reefs, shipwrecks, and more. Dive deeper with Nomad! Nomad is a battery-powered tankless diving system that floats on the surface like a buoy and delivers you compressed air through a 40' (12.2m) long hose as you breathe underwater to the depth up to 30' (9.1m). Battery run time is typically about 60 minutes or more and spare batteries can be swapped in for extra dive time with ease. Nomad is extremely user-friendly and portable. You can even fly with it! Travel around and explore the underwater world with Nomad, hassle free.

What allows Nomad to be so compact, energy-efficient, and responsive is BLU3's patent-pendingSmart Regulator the first of its kind! Here's how it works: A silicone diaphragm inside the Smart Reg moves when the diver breathes. A waterproofed sensor measures the diaphragm movement, it then sends an electronic signal which triggers the compressor to pump air at exactly the time and speed that the diver is inhaling. Nomad pumps only the exact pressure, volume, and flow rate that the diver needs at their particular depth which means it uses just a fraction of the energy of any other underwater breathing system. That's why BLU3 can use smaller pumps, motors, and batteries, bringing you the most portable and affordable underwater breathing system ever! The Smart Regulator is equipped with an adjustment knob for perfect breathing at depth.

With deeper depths, higher pressure and flow rates required for diving, BLU3custom compressor designed by their team in Florida, USA has been customized to fit this application. For example, even if you accidentally get saltwater inside your pump, no damage will be done. Just rinse freshwater through. Don't try that with any other compressors! Nomad's flotation shell surrounding the compressor gives the unit inherent buoyancy without the need for a flotation tube. The flotation shell is rotomolded from hard, durable plastic and filled with foam so that it's unsinkable. That being said, you should use the Dry Bag Float whenever you dive for additional buoyancy, stability, and visibility.

Nomad is powered by a custom lithium-ionbattery packthat is swappable and rechargeable. The pack and connector are IP67-rated to handle saltwater environments. It's 144 Wh, so it is allowed in carry-on luggage on most airlines! A charge-level indicator is located right on the battery itself so that you can always check your battery level. Be sure to grab a few extra packs so that you can dive all day long! Charge time is 3-hours. The included battery is a 5000mAh, 144 Wh rechargeable lithium-ion cell with a maximum charge voltage of 33.6 volts, and a nominal voltage of 29.6 volts.

Prior to Nomad Diving, it is required that each user completes and passes the BLU3 Online Dive Training Course. This course is available free of charge online on a user-friendly platform. It teaches users how to have the most enjoyable Nomad Diving experience by thoroughly explaining important diving techniques and emergency procedures. Nomad's 40' (12.2m) air hoseis the perfect balance of weight, flexibility, and durability. The coils prevent the hose from kinking and make it super easy to handle. Bungee the hose up for easy storage. Hose is longer than max depth to allow for more scope, making Nomad easier to tow while diving at max depth. TheDry Bag Floatprovides buoyancy, visibility, and waterproof storage for dry items. It has two air reservoirs that can be inflated by mouth with ease to provide 44 lbs (20kg) of buoyancy. Its bright color will help notify surrounding boaters of your location. Store dry items inside the waterproof compartment while you enjoy your dive with Nomad.

Included with the BLU3 Nomad Dive System are the Nomad unit, smart regulator, dive harness, battery pack(s), a traditional red and white diver down flag and an international Alpha dive flag and the Nomad online training course. The Nomad unit consists of a compressor, swappable battery pack, battery charger, air hose, smart regulator, float, snorkel tube, dive flags and a drip cap. BLU3 Nomad Dive System is available in three models: No spare battery, one spare battery or with two spare batteries (see selection menu above). Each battery includes a wall charger. The system measures 197 x 11 x 9" (43 x 28 x 23cm) and weighs 15 lbs (7kg). System is designed for age 12 and up and comes with an owner's manual. Fully assembled in the United States of America.
