The log book is designed to capture all dive profile information, including details about the dive location, depth, visibility, dive time, air consumption, and any notable marine life or experiences.
No, the log book is made of paper and is not designed for direct exposure to water. For water-intensive sports, consider pairing it with a water-resistant cover for added protection.
Logging your dives serves as proof of your diving experience and qualifications. It can be the deciding factor in whether you're allowed to participate in advanced dives. Moreover, it helps you track your progress and growth as a diver.
The diver-down-flag logo is a traditional symbol in diving culture, used to indicate the presence of a diver below. On the log book, it adds a touch of diving culture to your gear and makes the log book easy to identify.
The log book is bound with saddle stitched binding, ensuring its durability and longevity. However, as it's made of paper, it's recommended to keep it away from direct exposure to water.

Got this book in my Open Water class and I'm just repurchasing. I really like that there is a lot of space to write notes about what I see. Wasn't thrilled with the formatting of other logbooks; this one works much better for me. Tech details at the top and marine life or other notes for the bottom 2/3.

I made the mistake of purchasing this paper log book without considering that I would be using on dive boats where it would inevitably get wet. I've gotten away from paper completely and log dives either on my iPhone (which is in a waterproof/shockproof case) or on my PC when I get home.

Bought this as my old one was full. This is the same type I had previously and I like it as there is plenty of room to make notes and it fits in my waterproof log bag.

Not a good choice for a water intensive sport. Would recommend a book that has a water resistant cover.

Divers are required to log their dives for proof of experience; this handy log book allows you to write down the important information, thus eliminating the possibility of forgetting important facts about the dive and instrument readings included in logging a dive. Wherever you go diving you need to have proof of diving experience. Without it you can be left behind on more experienced dives when you are qualified to make them. Make sure you log all your dives and carry your log book when on a diving vacation. This 60-paper page log book provides all the important requirements for properly logging dives and information for preforming repetitive dives. Log book cover has an eye-catching traditional red & white diver-down-flag logo for easy identification. Log Book measures 5.5" x 8.5" (14cm x 21.6cm) and has saddle stitched binding.
