Kendra H : As a female(with no mustache) will this work for me? I have tried several masks and encounter the same problem, leaking in the nose section. The mask isnt overtightened, strap is on the top part of my head and the mask is a secure fit without use the strap.Timothy A : Yes, possibly. This mask seal is clear and goopy. I spread it along the edges of my mask and it helps create better contact with my face, so the mask sticks with more suction. It can't work miracles, though - the mask needs to fit reasonably well to start, and the mask needs to flex where you face flexes. By the way, adjusting where the strap comes across my head had a lot of impact on the seal of my mask. I find the strap needs to go more straight across the back of my head rather than across the top part of my head. The combination of trying different strap positions and this mask seal eventually worked pretty well.nathan c : It might help if it's a very small leak. But I would go under water with the strap off and just gently hold it in place to make sure it isn't a fit issue. I didn't order a mask online, because I wasn't sure about the fit. It's better to buy a mask in a local shop, so, they can help fit it.JEAN MARIE T : It's nothing but vaseline, save your money. I feel your pain, I went through probably a dozen masks I bought before I found one I love. But give vaseline a try, depending on the size of the gap it might work.

Great for mustaches

Works very well. I have a mustache and always struggle with getting masks to seal. This solves the problem. I only wish I came in larger quantities because it doesn't last very long.

You have tried a lot of masks, and none of them seem to give you the proper seal you are looking for. Not getting the proper seal from your dive mask can be really annoying and can be unsafe when diving! This product may just be the thing you need to start really enjoying your dives. You invested a lot of money in all that gear so let's have fun with it. All-purpose sealant stops mask leaks, excellent for mustaches and other facial hear. Petroleum based products can actually damage mask skirts whereas the silicone mask seal clear formula will not harm silicone, rubber or PVC mask skirts. Applying the gel directly to the moustache will help to create a better seal. The twist up container contains 0.14 oz. (4 g) of mask seal. Mask Seal is a great item for your save-a-dive-kit.
