Good visor
The visor is good. Personally I think it projects out a little too far. And I had to actually get some of my own velcro because I didn't realize it was off set and had to readjust it. But once on it does what it is supposed to do

Great for cycling helmets too!
I needed a visor for my rock hopper cycling helmet and this was perfect!

So far....so good!
Although the visor doesn't fit my helmet perfectly, it certainly keeps the sun off my face. I have been looking for a solution for a while and this visor seems to work well.

Good helmet visor
Works perfect as an extended bell bike helmet brim, at least on a recumbent. Very sturdy. Handles wind well.

Hit the Spot!
Just a really nice product. A tad heavy on the front of a helmet but not an issue. Really makes boating into the sun much nicer.

Very handy to have
Easily removable, and flexible. Does a great job. Best part is that if the visor contacts something, it will flex out of the way and not contribute to torquing your neck and possibly breaking it.

These Visors are great...
These Visors are GREAT... They fit the new helmets well and are the perfect size. We also really like the different colour options so we could match our other gear somewhat. My only concern is if the adhesive on the velcro you stick to the helmut will hold up and not come off... so far so good.

Adhesive Fail
The adhesive for the velcro pad fails within 24 hours. You'll need something to fix this before it's usable.

Very nice and handy to have
Shields eyes from overhead sun very well. For me, these have always been a "must have" item for paddling, when wearing a helmet. Flexible, so if it hits something, it won't "wrench" your neck.

good product, good value
Bought it to replace short, hard, plastic "visor" on Giro "Venti" helmet. With velcro strips attached vertically, visor position can easily be adjusted so visor just blocks sunlight coming in over my glasses - important for my commute into the sun in both directions. Now my wife wants one for her helmet, too.

Nice Visor
I put this visor on my Protec helmet and it fits great. It really kept the sun off my face during an all day kayak clinic.

simple and great. only improvement would be the possibility of tilting the visor back like the Salamander visor to improve visibility in certain situations. other than that item is awesome!

simple visor attaches to helmet well. flips up when not needed or detachable. was a little cautious because it was velcro tape but helmet has been submerged plenty of times and no peeling yet.

The simplest and best helmet visor
I got this for a climbing helmet. I use the helmet when hiking through dense western riparian habitat and climbing through tall brush on hills and mountains. The visor, of course, provides sun shade, but it also helps keeps sticks, trigs, and other things away from your face and out of your eyes. It attaches with Velcro, so I can remove it anytime that I want. This is a simple solution to putting a brim on a helmet for any use, and I think it is the best solution out there. I haven't seen any practical alternatives.

Keeps the Sun Off!
I needed a sun visor for my bike helmet that was more effective than the plastic attachment that comes from the factory. Although the NRS Helmet Visor is designed to mount on the inside of a white-water helmet, I was able to adapt this one to attach to the outside front rim of my bike helmet. The end result was a far more effective sun-blocking system.
