Must need accessory for full face mask users.
A definite must have for the FFM. Without a quick connect, the FFM is a nuisance.

Poor disconnect
Not Recommended. I have quick release hoses where I just bought the quick release and added it to the hose. They had locking mechanisms on them. This hose does not have that.
Had the hose become disconnected in mid dive. Emergency 2nd stage saved me.

A must have accessory for Neptune full face mask
This is a must have accessory for the Neptune full face mask. The connection is easy to connect and disconnect with gloves on. Masks it easy to disconnect from you first stage for storage to keep the mask protected.

Worth the higher cost
I dive the Ocean Reef Neptune FFM. You NEED this hose.

Expensive but worth it
If you have a Ocean Reef FFM, then it's worth having the quick disconnect. Although this hose is expensive you can separate it from your regs for washing and storing. The hose will last about a year before the outer flex material starts to pull off the coupling by the first stage. Once that starts it's time for a new hose. I'd rate this 5 stars if it wasn't so dam expensive.

Ocean Reef swivel/quick disconnect and hose
These three items make the full face mask so easy to use at little extra cost. I am finding that I take the mask off the octo rig and store in the cloth bag when I finish each dive. The quick disconnect makes it a quick job even in a rocking boat with a bunch of crazy dive buddies.

Required equipment
Used with the Ocean Reef Neptune Space full face mask. The hose comes with the quick disconnect fitting to replace the standard hose fitting on the mask. Once installed it is perfect.

This is a must with a Full Face Mask !!!
The quick disconnect makes diving with a Full Face Mask a MORE pleasant and workable experience. No more dangling mask while trying to get suited up.

Perfect emergency tool
I use a full face mask and a pony bottle. This is a great way to switch to the pony bottle or spare second stage.

Works great to switch 2nd stages
I use this hose to switch between two of my 2nd stages - an Oceanreef full face mask, and an Apeks XTX50. When pressurized, the 2nd stages stays on quite easily. When unpressurized, the 2nd stage will fall off if you or someone else grips the hose connector the wrong way. I would probably not use this particular model routinely for deco dives. Oceanreef sells a commercial model (not available here yet) for about 2-3X the cost which requires two hands to remove it. In order to fix the 'pop off' problem cheaply, I just put both 2nd stages on an octo holder. This hose (and included connector) will very likely fit other 2nd stages, but I would recommend that you first check for similar female threads like the XTX50 has. Sorry, I don't know what the thread dimensions are offhand.
