I got this light because a coworker had nothing but good things to say as I was having issues with my Black rock torch. On the second dive a battery leaked inside the body, I cleaned it out and still works but the silicone that covers the led light now bounces around behind the lense. I still love the light, just a bit bummed having an issue so early on.

I am a commercial diver. I bought this light 5 years ago and it had about 30,000 minutes of bottom time on it before It died. It took Years of abuse before breaking internally. It's bright, light last a long time, my only complaint is metallic particals can stick to the on-button making it hard To turn on. Cleaning corroded steel below water causes me to clean out the button slot after each dive. But overall I liked it a Lot.

I bought this as replacement light and have made it my primary light. It is light weight, batteries last a long time. I replace the batteries annually, and do about 20 to 25 dives a year in cold water. I will buy another to replace its bigger brother... Highly recommended. Excellent Quality and built to last.

If you plan to buy a dive torch, look no further this is value. Yes it is on the heavy side but c'mon what's the big deal underwater? I did 3 night dives in Cozumel recently and guess what, it's the same light that they rent at the dive shop. That speaks volumes for this light. Well made and very bright.

Enough to good amount of light for my use; mostly spear fishing. It could be better if it has a lock for the on/off switch. Many times it turns on as I'm moving the gear. Also it's bulky and could be better by having some kind of rubber protection around it or at least around the head to prevent damage when banging to other gear. But above all it is been my best flash light so far.

I spearfish most every weekend between late April and mid-October. Mostly for flounder, which hide fairly well; under structure, at the edges of wrecks, under low overhangs. Light is bright enough. However, it is heavy enough that it pulls my lanyard out a few inches by its weight alone. I keep it in the pocket of my BC (lanyard attached) as I'm getting in and out of the water.

Brightest light I have ever used. Great for looking into holes during the day. Had know idea that I was missing that much stuff. Do not let the size worry you. Attach it to your BC with a retractable leash.

For the money, this light is the bomb.. Great blue color, intense beam with great range and penetration.
