Atomic BC1
I absolutely love this BCD. I have dove many of them and this one has been my favorite. I have lost a few pounds 319 to 200 pounds, so I have had a few of these. The quality is great everything is where it should be and convenient. Weight pockets are very nice as well. Easy to get in and out, the tank strap is one of the best features on this BCD. It has nice padding for your back, and if you lift the padding there is a handle underneath it for carrying your gear or lifting it out of the water. There is a break in period for the BCD, as it is pretty stiff when its new. However, after a few dives the things fits like a glove. It also dries super quick 5 or 10 minutes sitting in the sun its ready to be packed. It saddens me that Atomic is discontinuing this BCD it the best on the market in my opinion.

Brilliant, insanely expensive, but totally worth it
YES, this is WAY too much money to spend on a BC.... but also, YES, it is just as beautiful and functional as you would expect and hope.
Every inch of this thing is over-designed, like a european sports-car. The fit is super comfortable, from the padded back plate (which is adjustable depending on your height, awesome for tall person like me), to the adjustment straps, buckles, etc... One of my personal favorite features, and the envy of everyone else on a dive boat, is the tank holder + ratcheting camlock strap. This thing will blow you mind as it makes setup or changing to a new tank super easy.
As far as diving performance, the body position is exceptional, even on the surface. It's amazing how easily you can adjust trim or dump- it feels like dump pulls are digitally precise (seriously, no adjusting positions awkwardly to get the air in the right spot), and the inflator hose pull-down purge also makes negative entries a joy.
I was lucky to find a 'Demo' version being sold here on Leisurepro at a bit of a discount, but if you are on the fence (and won't go bankrupt from a new one at list price), I can attest to this BCD's brilliance.

BC2 is My New Favorite BC
I was lucky enough to get one of the first BC2s available, and I love it. It's so comfortable and fits amazing. Also feels great in the water, really good and balanced buoyancy. Love it.
