Each one undergoes strict quality control to ensure it matches the high standards of durability, reliability, and functionality that NANUK is known for. Yes, they offer the same stellar protection as our non-recycled cases.

Being ‘OceanPositive’ spans from not just what we do in the ocean but also what we do in our everyday lives. Items in our OceanPositive Collection are made using fabrics including a significant percentage of recycled content from post-consumer waste. This includes “Ghost” Fishing nets, brought out of the sea to be recycled and post-consumer plastic bottles. For the past few years we have been working to completely eliminate single-use plastic from our packaging, a goal that was derailed by the pandemic but has since made a strong recovery. We currently identify 45% of our products as being made from at least 30% of recycled materials, made from waste such as plastic bottles, old carpets and fishing nets.

By 2030, we aim to create a net effect by ensuring 90% of our products are made from at least 30% regenerated materials rather than virgin materials.

Greenprene is a sustainable, insanely warm, super stretchy, ultra-durable insulating foam that provides excellent UV resistance. Greenprene is also significantly lighter in weight than traditional neoprene materials. Greenprene is 100% neoprene free sustainable insulating foam. It has been tested and is approved by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Bio Preferred program as a USDA Biobased product.
