The Garmin inReach Mini 3 is a great choice if you want peace of mind when you’re off the grid. It’s compact and lightweight, but still gives you reliable two-way satellite messaging and SOS anywhere in the world. The battery life is excellent, it pairs easily with your phone for simple messaging, and it’s ideal for travel, liveaboards, and remote dive destinations where cell service can be unreliable. It’s one of those devices you hope you never need—but you’re really glad to have.

I will preface by recommending utilizing the, "buy once, cry once," ideology. It's important to invest in the long term. With that being said, I would recommend the Scubapro MK25T Evo/S620 X-Ti. It's the only regulator you'll need for a very long time. You can use it in any environment, no matter how warm or cold, clean or polluted, or shallow or deep. It's built with Titanium, which is the strongest, most durable material.
