About Lifeguard Contingency Tank Harness
Tiso tank harness with backpack straps and handle allows easy transportation and deployment of a contingency tank for an entangled diver in need of more air while the entanglement or entrapment is managed. The backpack straps allow the contingency cylinder to be worn by an out-of-air diver who was forced to ditch his BCD-tank assembly. The Tank Harness is made from durable nylon webbing with shoulder, sternum and waist straps. The shoulder strap webbing is covered with neoprene sleeves for added comfort. The shoulder and sternum straps are equipped with durable non-corrosive plastic squeeze-style" side-release buckles and the waist strap has a plastic latch-style" quick release buckle.
The Tank Harness has a durable back plate and dual cam buckle cylinder straps for tank mounting. There is a rubber padded side grab handle for easy surface transport and a large steel D-ring at the top of the backpack plate for attachment of line.
