very comfortable and reliable bcd.

I have this BCD and used it on multiple dives and it is very comfortable and reliable. Many other divers have complimented on this BCD being stylish and very light. I feel very secure and it alsois has multiple D rings for gadgets and for folk that do not like plastic ones you can simply replace them with aluminum ones if needed. One more great feature is that it folds into a small carrying bag whichever comes with it too.

I was looking for a light weight, compact, travel BC for warm water diving. I bought the Zeagle Convert and the Cressi Air Travel BC. Tough decision - but I kept the Zeagle because it was more streamlined and has less parts to get lost. The Cressi Air Travel BCD is the perfect companion for the traveling diver. When we travel we need to consider weight factors due to airline restrictions and of course making it easy to lug gear around the globe. The Cressi Air Travel weighing just 5.5lbs (2.5kg), quickly folding into a compact tote and it can be easily packed into carry-on luggage so it's the ultimate in high performance travel BCs. Features include lock-aid integrated weight pockets with 20 lbs. (9 kg) weight releasable capacity, Optional tank band trim weight pockets (see SKU: CSBTWP) a soft padded backpack, 1-roll-up cargo pocket and 3-exhaust valves for easier buoyancy adjustments.

The Air Travel BCD is a rear inflation design with a durable 420-Denier nylon air cell with bungee cords to provide a low-profile and rapid deflation of air cell. The Air Travel BCD harness system uses traditional squeeze-style" side-release buckles and adjustable straps on the shoulders, chest and waist for precise-adjustment-and-fit. The chest (sternum) strap can be adjusted-to-3-different locations, further customizing the BCD to the user's personal needs.

BCD comes equipped with Cressi's streamline commando power inflator with cable activated pull dump valve and 3/8" threaded quick-disconnect hose. The inflator mechanism is environmentally sealed for greater reliability and less maintenance. 4-lightweight plastic D-rings are provided for accessory attachment. The BCD provides 36 lbs. (16.3kg) of lift in the medium size. BCD comes with an owner's manual.

Karin I  I'm a short female, 5' tall. Does this fit a shorter torso comfortably?
Mike T  Hi Diver Girl, Yes the XS should fit you very well.
RYAN S  The shoulder straps are adjustable like other bc's are so I'd think that you would be able to draw it up if you needed to account for a shorter torso area. I know I've had this bc for 5 years, 200+ dives and absolutely love mine.
Karin I  I ask because cinching up the shoulder straps does nothing to adjust the length of the back area from shoulder to waist.
RYAN S  I can't say for sure then. I'm 6'0 male and mine is great, but not sure how the women's sizes translate to a 5' female. Sorry I'm not any more help than that.

MARK S  The rig is both compact and light. Yes, it has integrated weight pockets (weights sold separately). I really like this BCD for warm water diving, which is all that I do. Because it is designed to be travel-friendly and light, it doesn't have all of the features of heavier BCDS (such as D-rings and pockets). If you are looking for a strong, comfortable, light-weight rig, this is an excellent choice.
CHARLES N  Excellent air travel BCD with integrated weight pockets. Folds very small into it's own bag. I used this for seven days diving, very comfortable. Light weight but i don't know exact weight.
MARK M  Yes and they'll hold ten pounds each. Weighs about 5 1/2 pounds. Love this BC!
CAMERON M  Yes, this BCD has integrated weight pockets in front. I'm not sure of the total weight of the BCD, but the men's version feels to be about 5 - 7 pounds. My husband and I both have been diving with this BCD - over 100 dives so far - and he has had problems with the integrated weight pockets coming out from under the BCD and making him a little front heavy so he ended up buying a Halcyon (which is much heavier) with back integrated weight pockets. Mine has held up fine, with the exception of the Cressi logos starting to peel off. Overall, I think this is a good BCD for travel. Good luck and happy diving!

DANIEL R  I don't have it exact dimensions but it packs down pretty well for travel. My only comment about the BC is the weight pouches are a bit limited in capacity. 10 lbs per side for a size large. I have to use extra weights on my tank when diving heavy 7 mil wetsuits. Other than that one draw back I have be happy with the BC. I do line Cressi's weight retention system.

JESSE A  This thing folds up pretty small, I would say it's right around the size of a volleyball depending on how you roll it up, it comes with a Velcro compression strap so you can really squeeze it down and get all the air out if it. Depending on which suit case I take sometimes I roll mine up and sometimes I just lay it flat on top of everything.

JEFFREY P  It is identical. I purchased 3 in 2012. 1 male, 2 female. The three have been on over 100 dives since the with no problems. The only slight drawback is the lack of any real pocket. I purchased a separate pocket that I have attached to the waist belt.

YAN G  Leisurepro does not recommend the use of any Air 2 style integrated inflator on any Cressi BCD. They use a non-standard corrugated hose, and you can't get a good connection.
CLARISSA H  I had one installed by a shop. It works very nicely and makes it even more compact!
