Aqua Sonic really works well, best ever!

By Richard

This is the first product you can really hear underwater. My wife was able to get my attention every time she needed me. We both have one now and know we can keep in touch underwater. I wish I had bought two to start with.[...]

Questions about this item:

jerry b  how loud is this alarm underwater?
Peter C  We have heard each other with over two hundred feet of separation!
BOBBY J  It is not loud at all. It may be at a frequency that I just cannot hear, but I do not use it.
MARIANO F  Loud and annoying, better to bang you tank with something
Ben L  Not loud enough.
Shopper  what is the measurement of this product?i
Peter C  6.5 " in length
ROBERT B  Littleover 6" easily fits in BC pockets and has lanyard. I use on D-ring and stuffed in front of BC. Seems to beslightly negativley bouyant, so even unthethered it does not want float up and be distracting. I ahighoy recommend as the best one I have seen after 25 years of diving.
MICHAEL M  appr. 1.5"x6"
YOUNG C  It's not loud enough. It's only good for 5 - 10 feet. It was a complete waste of my money. I'll sell you mine at half price.
KRIS F  It's about 6.5 inches long and 2 inches in diameter at the widest part.
ROBERT B  I have found this to be the best underwater signaling devices I have sen in over 25 years of diving. The constuction is excellent, easy to use and store and it seems to work without disturbing the marine life. A dive buddy of many years bought one also and they work very well. I highly recommend.
ALEX J  Approximately 6"x1".
KEITH H  Sorry, I'm not going to be much help. I returned the unit as soon as I received it... not because it didn't work, it just didn't fit my need (at the time). w.r.t size, I recall it being about the size of a small flash light. FYI, after trying some of the "manual" underwater noise makes, with very limited success, I would go back and try this item again.... K
RICHARD Y  The alarm is 6 3/4 inches long, and 1 3/4 in diameter (at the large end)
ROSEMARIE D  This product is 6.5 inches long and 1.5 inches in diameter.
MARC R  This device is 6.5 inches long and about 2 inches wide at the widest point.
JESSIE B  overall length is 6.5 in. including the sturdy loop at the end. The part you'd hold if it were a flashlight is about 1 and 3/8" wide by 7/8 thick, easy to hold. The black "drum" part on the end that you tap has a 1 3/4 inch diameter. I like it so far.
RICHARD H  Its like around 8 inches. I wasnt impressed with it. Not very loud.
Shopper  What is the depth rating?
LeisurePro S  This is rated to 200 feet in depth.
Shopper  Hello.I´m interested in the aquasonic underwater alarm, but i need to know if it works too on surface. Can it be used to call the boat, for example?.Thanks, and i hope you can answer me soon!
LeisurePro S  It makes sound above and below the water, but above water the sound would probably not be loud enough to call a boat. Check out these alternatives: http://www.leisurepro.com/Prod/AQUDP.html http://www.leisurepro.com/Prod/AQUDA1.html
Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
MICHAEL M  tried a few other noise makers!
ROBERT B  Manual ones were really a joke...more a novelty than anyathing wlse. This proved to be exceptionally good.
