Good piece of kit!

By Chris

Notthing really earth-shattering to say about this product other than it works and works well. Solid construction, super easy to use, lightweight, and I've found it to be very accurate as well. I'm a Gas Blender (Inst), so I play with quite a few different analyzers and like to compare them as well...the accuracy and ease of use of this particular one gets two thumbs up from me!

"Quick and Easy"

By Matt

Quick, Accurate, Easy to use. I like that you dont have to put this analyzer together. It comes ready to use. It's so easy to use that you can take it on the boat and doubble check you mixture just before you dive.

To correctly plan for nitrox diving, all nitrox divers need to know the gas mix in their tanks. Analox Sensor Technology offers a range of nitrox analyzers (also known as oxygen analyzers) as well as spares and accessories to assist any scuba divers looking to start nitrox diving. Quick and easy to use, the O2EII is splash proof, drop proof and is easy to transport when going on your annual dive holiday. The O2EII is robust and ergonomically designed to ensure a comfortable grip. The O2EII is small, portable and battery operated, meaning it can be taken anywhere.

As a diver, confidence in your mix means you can relax and enjoy your dive. Now you can check your tanks on the boat, making sure the tank you filled is the tank they hook up! The new Analox O2EII is designed to be a major step forward in diver safety. Building on the success of the Mini O2DII, the O2EII retains the same qualities but with many additional features. There are many O2 analyzers on the market, many of which will give you an accurate read on your Nitrox... what sets the O2EII apart is its absolute superior construction and design: drop it, kick it, bang it around, fish it out of the water, it will still give you the most accurate O2 read, be the most comfortable in your hand, and last far longer than any of its competitors. Analox value is in their quality.

The O2EII oxygen analyzer is designed to measure oxygen levels in the range 0.1 to 100% O2 for tank oxygen level verification. The O2EII is ergonomically designed and equipped with several features to ensure ease of use and reliability. The instrument has been designed to be held in the left hand to enable ease of use when checking your tank. It is fitted with a large digital display and operates from an internal temperature compensated electrochemical oxygen sensor. Power is provided by a 9V battery which will last for approximately 1 year before replacement is necessary. The O2EII will automatically switch off after 10 minutes to ensure battery life is not compromised if the instrument is accidentally turned on.

The O2EII is water and drop resistant. Designed specifically for the diving industry whether you may be a sport Nitrox, commercial or military diver where hostile environmental conditions are the norm not the exception. The O2EII is supplied ready to use, all you need to do is push in the EII adapter. The analyzer has an on button that also acts as a hold button to freeze the reading on the digital display. The O2EII has a typical accuracy +/- 1% of reading +/- 0.2% of O2, an operating temperature of 23°F to 122°F (-5°C to +50°C), a sensor response of 15 seconds to 90% of final reading, a resolution of 0.1% O2 and provides a 4-digit LCD display reading. Included with the analyzer are an owner's manual.

Questions about this item:

Stephen W  Filters and how much ?
SUKANYA Y  No filter need in Nitrox Analyzer
STEVEN S  Don't know as I have sold the analyzer.
Shopper  How to replace battery?
FRED E  remove the 4 screws, take face off will see 9v battery unplug and replace very easy.battery will last for many years. if a problem it is the sensor that need replaced. It is also easy to replace
MARK B  Battery Replacement 1. Loosen the 4 screws located on the front cover. The gasket seal is designed to prevent water leaking into the O2 EII Pro as a result the seal may be tight. Loosen the seal by moving the lid from side to side, and then carefully lift the cover. 2. Slide the battery out of its holder and disconnect the lead. 3. Connect the lead to the new battery and slide the battery into its holder, under the battery clip 4. Replace the cover carefully taking care that the sensor locates properly, and that you do not trap any wires. Screw down until you feel the gasket tighten; do not over tighten the screws.
Sue B  how will I know when to change the battery?
JEAN MARC H  Battery is not your main problem. You will know as the display fades away. Replacing the O2 sensor is the real question.
JAMES SCOTT F  A "L" will show up on the display. It takes a standard 9V battery. Depending on your usage the battery lasts a long time.
Shopper  Do you have in stock the sensor kit for this?
MARC B  ? Dose the intake fitting come with the Analyzer . the picture just show a Plastic plug
ANDREW I  The round plastic plug is the intake. Yes it comes with it.
BERTRAND R  The analyzer comes ready to use. There is no need for a fitting as you just have to place the analyzer in the flow from the open tank valve.
MARC S  Yes. The O2EII comes with a plug to keep dust and other foreign matter out of the analyzer intake port. It also includes the intake fitting that is used to perform the Oxygen measurement. The plug is removed and the intake fitting is placed in the input port prior to performing the O2 measurement.
JOHN T  Yes there is an intake fitting and a plug.
WILLIAM S  Yes, it comes with a hemispherical plastic intake fitting that has a small hole. You simply hold the intake fitting to the slightly cracked valve of your Nitrox tank. You have to install the oxygen sensor before installing the hemispherical intake fitting, as it has a limited life once exposed to oxygen (I keep mine sealed when not in use).
ROBERT K  Yes it does
FABRIZZIO C  when I bought it it came with a small green piece, thats what you insert in the tank hose. I recomend that you bought and spare
PAUL B  Yes. The fitting is a green rounded piece that you place up against the dive tank. Open the valve on the tank SLIGHTLY, and press the yellow button on the analyzer. Assuming you've calibrated the analyzer for temperature and humidity, it will give you an accurate reading for the O2 mix.
STEVEN M  the thing that looks like a plastic plug has a hole in it. you put that part against where the air comes out of the tank.
WILLIAM K  Yes, there was an intake fitting included when I purchased mine several years ago.
KEN G  Yes, they slide on and off, a small oring helps seal the pieces
