It does what it is supposed to do. And is very low profile. I would repurchase it and would highly recommend this for a secondary.

Easy to fold up and stow. Breathes well—deploys quickly and has a nice swivel for turning towards your buddy.

Nice and smooth! May be a bit much for what most would call a “hopefully never needed”.  Now my other half is replacing hers with the same one.

AL Octopus

It seems that this regulator has not been compatable with overbalanced 1st stages ex... (AL Legend), causing free flows/leaking at depths around 50ft or more. Other reviews when used with balanced/unbalanced 1st stages have been five stars.

Great Regulator

Day one it would free flow now and then.  By the second dive it was a leak which could not be stopped.  Avoid !!

Slim, unlike previous octi I've owned.  Since it's flat, it can be inverted and handed to buddy without worrying about it's orientation.

A good piece of equipment, common sense design, but right out of the box it already has freeflow issues.  I don't expect that from a brand new piece of gear.

Bought this product during Christmas Holiday thinking that Leisurepro would cover return mail (as advertised) for US return during the Holiday - NOT...

I am living temporarily in Singapore and have the order shipped there.  Apparently, free return mail is only for orders shipped to US address.  

Originally, I thought Leisurepro would issue US return label and I could ask a friend who would be visiting the US to drop it off the local UPS store.  

Now the ABS octopus (see product comment is an expensive paperweight)

Leisurepro customer service has been good except this one, sorry,  no star for you this time Leisurepro...  :(

Beware - Compatibility

Bought two of these.  Big mistake, free flow issues since first day on BOTH.

Not Reliable

Great product for a good price!!!

Regret not buying the legend octo.  This reg although small and compact with good ergonomics had issues with free flowing.  This reg also let me down on a deep dive as I used it on a pony bottle.  Its not adjustable and left me struggling to get good air exchange.  I will buy the adjustable legend now.

Spend a bit more

This is a terrible reg.  I made the mistake of buying two.  For a few dollars more you can buy the US Divers Aqualung/Titan [made by the same company]which is an excellent AA reg.

Buy a US divers Aqualung/Titan instead

Just the basics - but that's ok for rec diving.

I enjoy the size and functionality of this octo but after 2.5 years it will free flow or trickle air for no reason below 40 feet. Lost quite a bit of air because of it. It has been adjusted 6 times by several authorized dealers and nobody can fix it. I just ordered a different one from leisurepro. [...]

It's ok. Questionable service life

This is a totally awesome product. No more upside down regulators or twisted in supply line.

NICE PRODUCT

My buddy uses more air, so I often share air with him.  The design that allows breathing in either direction is very convenient.  It breaths easy.
