Excellent graphics, lots of available apps, great connectivity & controls. Sleek and elegant. Versatile, as I don't leave home or sleep without it.

Love my Venus 3

I love that the watch has so much information available to me and that I can pick and choose what I want to see. After some practice the many menus become easier to use, but it did seem daunting at first. I like the ability to send quick responses to text messages from the watch and answer calls from the watch when I am not near my phone. Overall I am very happy with the watch and the only con I can think of is the purported battery life. My watch tends to last no more than 5-7 days when not using any of the GPS functions, which is far less than the reported 14 days it is supposed to get. I am not unhappy with the battery life, I am just noting that for me it does not last as long as advertised.

Lot's of information

Had some reservations about the price of this watch but it's worth it. Better features than anything else I have had. I don't really like trying to use this for talking on the phone over my phone. I just think it looks stupid when people do it in the wild. Notifications are pretty good and are pretty customizable, just like the rest of the watch.

I like to fiddle with my tech so if you are an Apple user you might not like the settings that you will have to adjust.

The number of watch faces on the beautiful screen is almost endless and if course if you want to customize them it is available.

This one match does more for tracking than ANY OTHER WATCH. Full stop. If you are serious about exercise and keeping yourself healthy and want to know how you are doing in the most detailed way, throw away those other watches - it's not even close.

One thing Garmin - please provide a better strap, the type that come with the iWatch or higher level Fitbit. Small upgrade that is cheap, I bought a replacement...

Great watch

I bought this almost a month ago and I'm loving it! I had a fitbit for awhile then gave it to my daughter so I can justify my upgrade lol

A nice upgrade

I've had this watch for about two weeks. I had the Venue previously. The upgrades make the watch more user friendly. I exercise 4-5 times a week and the activity features are second to none. I can also answer the phone with the watch which is very helpful!! Love it!!

Best Smart Watch Out There

Venu-3 is a great versatile watch with multiple apps that work well. Very solid battery life.

Wow, ever since I've invested in my very first non Apple Watch, I decided to go with Garmin. The choices were hard in which one to go with. 



Under careful searching I found the Venu 3. So far, I'm loving this watch, especially for its battery life. I get about 5 days straight. 

I still receive messages from my iPhone. I can't respond back from the watch, but that is not an issue for me. 

Steps are displayed on the screen, without me having to stop what I'm doing to go through the watch to search for it. I'm still tinkering with the watch some more. 



I just want to say: Thank you Garmin and staff.

Best yet

I received this for Fathers Day after constant complaints about a competitor's battery length. My son had a Venu 3 so a natural follow on for me. 

I changed the face to one that has what I need to monitor my daily activities, battery levels, steps, weather, and health-related items - and yes, the time as well.

It took a week or so to get familiar with the user interface but I'm good now..

The integration with Apple Watch is "good" but could be better, IMHO. There are apps available on the Garmin ConnectIQ Store that have enabled me to keep my Apple Health and Peloton apps up to date. There are a ton of goals, awards, and pre-defined fitness plans and routines that I am only dipping my foot into after having the watch for a month.

As for battery life? After getting the watch the first charge lasted about 8 days. I am on my second charge with the battery at 25% and still have 4 days remaining. Based on the timing my second charge will have gone 15 days - and only an hour or so to fully recharge. 



Overall excellent device - water resistant to 50m so I am unafraid of diving into the water with this device. I used to remove my other watch whenever I took a drink of water for fear I'd ruin that other watch (sarcasm intended).



I highly recommend - I will add an updated review in 6-9 months which will enable me to comment more on the goals, rewards, and other app capability.

Awesome Watch, Incredible Battery Life, Great Apps

I'm BACK! After being lured away from Garmin for the bells and whistles...I find the Venu 3 to be the perfect fit of smart watch and health smart device. I like the GPS accuracy as it's hands down the best in the industry. I found a watch face that looks sharp and brings me just the right amount of data and information in a stylish display. Glad to be back Garmin!

My Review for Venu 3

So much great information available about my health, workouts, sleep, and heart health in general! The basics are easy to set up and get data from immediately. I'm still discovering additional features and functions that are insightful. I do a combination of HIIT, aerobic, strength, and walking exercises and it seems to analyze them all quite accurately. I look forward to being able to take my blood pressure with it, and it would be handy if I could connect my Fitindex body composition scale, but it's not difficult to add that data manually. This was a significant investment for me and I'm very happy with the returns!

Great Features, visually appealing!

I've had a different brand of smart watch for years, but I haven't been happy with it lately. I decided to try the Garmin Venu 3 after reading many reviews. I have been SOOOO happy with my switch! I love that the Venu 3 focuses on my overall health/wellbeing and not just meeting certain daily goals. The battery life is AMAZING, I can actually track my sleep with this watch instead of having to charge it nightly. It is user friendly- It didn't take me long at all to figure out how to work it and set it up. I love that I can track my water intake with it as well! I am so glad I changed to the Venu 3. The few things that this watch doesn't have that my other one did, I don't miss as much as I thought I would. I love it!

I love it!

I use my watch 24/7 for sleep,heart, blood oxygen, hydration reminders, sleep coach, even to track my steps daily. It helps me be aware of my health and how much water/sleep I need during the day. The battery life for me was 4-5 days without the display being on. I switched from Apple Watch Series 8 to Garmin Venu 3. I don't regret it. I don't care if I don't need the keyboard to reply to social media apps anymore. I just care about a watch focus on my health.

If you need that strong battery life!

I received the watch for Father's day from my wife and was skeptical. However, I love the sleep score. It helps me monitor my poor sleeping habits. I also use it when I work out. Love it.

Great Features

I've had my new Venu 3 for a little over a month and have been enjoy all the features it has.

I owned the Instinct 2 and it was OK but harder to see info on the watch face. My new one is lightweight, comfortable and colored information makes this a great watch!

Ditch the Apple Watch and buy the Garmin! Absolutely love all of the features Garmin offers compared to Apple! Garmin battery life is crazy good! Don't have to worry about charging it for days. Garmin definitely outperforms Apple Watch.

This was the first fitness or smart watch to ever actually satisfy me. The battery life is impressive, and the capabilites of the watches sensors are perfect. This watch has already improved my life so much.

Amazing Watch!

Great for keeping track of my workouts and runs from the mountains to the tropics, Pura Vida.

Had a Fitbit Charge 6. (Not supposed to mention but if you're thinking about these two, how better to help?) Moved to Garmin's Venu 3. 24 hours in, way better. Better screen (by far). Better info. Better app. And no Google Big Brother. OK, the price difference is significant. You usually get what you pay for. 5 stars may be premature due to lack of experience but I expect it to hold. Great functionality. Nice size. Light weight. Very responsive. Quality product.

Way better than Fitbit

I've had this about month. I'm not a big runner, but I do walk daily for at least 40 minutes at a fairly fast pace. I love how it tracks my heart rate zones, steps, sleep, vo2 max. It even tells time. Battery life is great. Only have to charge it once a week.

Does it all

I have several smart watch before this beat them all and the bets part is the battery life.

On the negative I live in PR and the contact less payment is not letting me register because I live in Puerto Rico . With BTW is part of USA.

Easy to navigate

Lots of details no instructions. 2 software apps?? Which one is for what? Why 2 apps? Lots of data to access but I just don't have time to sit down and fumble through it all. Oh well, that's on me. It's a cool watch and I guess I'll learn more than the basics over time through trial and error. It is a cool watch though.

Takes a while to learn

The watch is great! Accurate tracking. Very good battery life. The app support on Connect IQ could have been better.

I love the versatility of the Venue 3. I can use it as a smart watch and also for training. My first Garmin and I love it.

Get watch with lots of features

I've owned the Venu 3 for about a month and I am so pleased with it! As someone who has owned a smartwatch since the beginning of the technology came out, this is by far my favorite one! 



My biggest complaint with smartwatches is that most companies try to make it something that could one day replace your phone. I believe most owners are like myself and just want something that is a great companion piece to technology we already own. The Venu 3 does just that. The health metrics are fantastic and have helped me make more informed decisions regarding my overall health. The notifications for things like messages and other apps on my phone are subtle and helpful. This is my first foray into the Garmin smartwatch world and I am now a customer for life!
