The Akona Chelan is lightweight yet durable. Making it easier for you to pack more gear and still meet airline weight restrictions. This bag is great for any type of travel. Bag has an exterior pocket with locking D-ring, which can fit a regulator pouch (Akona Classic Regulator Bag AKB605 - Not Included). Durable smooth-rolling wheels and a hidden telescoping trolley handle allows you to easily maneuver busy airport, train and bus terminals. The bag has heavy-duty YKK zipper closures with branded pull tabs for easy access to all compartments. Two separate fin pockets to maximize storage with breathable mesh panels for ventilation and drainage. The Akon Chelan Roller Bag weighs in at 8 lbs (3.6kg) when empty, measures 31 x 21 x 14" (78.75 x 53.3 x 35.6cm) with a volume of 9,093 cu in (149L). Bag comes with a top grab lifting handle and a barrel lock drawstring water bottle pouch.

Great bag. Roomy. Good pocket configuration. Fairly lightweight.

Excellent room for a full scuba set including 7mm wetsuit, gloves, hood, regulator, BCD, mask, SMB, camera, lights, etc. Still some room left after all that. External pocket are a great convenience. Two exterior pockets with mesh drainage for fins. My ApexRK3 fins fit together on one side, leaving room on the other side for another pair or some other gear.

Roomy!

My gripes:
1. The exposed nuts, bolts and screw heads inside could snag or scratch gear.
2. The bottom edge is not sufficiently offset from the bags edge, resulting in scratching the tough fabric exterior, potentially wearing it out some day. Slightly bigger wheels would address that issue while making it easier to rool.

Bag looks very well made and has plenty of room. Holds all the gear I need. Only thing they could have done different was cover up the screw heads inside that could possibly snag your gear.

Great Bag

Item arrived possibly missing parts because the screws on the bottom and extremely sharp and would cut right through a wetsuit. Contacted customer service four days ago and cannot still get a response on this issue. Leisure pro used to be a great company to deal with but apparently customer service is no longer a priority.

Will cut a wetsuit and horrible service

We haven?t used/traveled with it yet but it is super lightweight so we should have no problems with weight restrictions. Our other Akona dive bag is older, super heavy duty but weighs more.

Lightweight but seems sturdy enough

Awesome dive bag.. light and roomy. Absolutely love the side pockets for fins and boots. Gotta be a little careful because the bag tends to tip over if not packed properly... but still an awesome product.

Excellent dive bag

Seems well made but it's too small for fins, so pretty useless as a dive bag. I guess I should have paid more attention to the interior dimensions. Cost me $10 bucks to return, unfortunately.

The Akon’s dive gear bag I ordered from Leisure Pro arrived in a timely manner.  It was as described, heavy duty, roomy and good wheels and handle.  I love the bag and would order more gear from Leisure Pro.
