The patented cam tilt significantly reduces initial inspiratory effort by minimizing friction between the cam and diaphragm. The polished Teflon disc and pivot system eliminate cam-disc friction, boosting performance. With metal particles embedded in the second stage's body, thermal conductivity is improved, preventing freezing in cold environments. The oversized purge button and air anti-expansion elements increase functionality and durability.
The balanced MC9 SC first stage boasts a protective techno-polymer elastomer shell and an anti-friction, anti-corrosion internal coating. Its environmentally sealed design keeps delicate internal parts safe from contaminants. The special seal chamber (SC) isolates the diaphragm and spring from water, making it perfect for diving in waters rich in minerals or cold temperatures.
The innovative internal air passages and assist chamber minimize pressure drop while maximizing performance at all depths. The hyper-balanced design increases intermediate pressure during low tank pressure and deep dives.
