Greetings to you both – thx for the holiday thoughts – 2nd open house there, and not even 1 nibble or offer – WOW – that is strange! That hurts. I guess it truly is a buyers market out there, but that is ridiculous. Of course with the housing market still licking it´s wounds as it is, and what with the glut of bank foreclosures out there – repo´s as it were – still outweighing a good firm selling market, I guess having your house on the market like it is right now is not the best time to be selling – esp with schools well underway and all, as most families are pretty well settled in by now I would think. Winter time is not a great time to be moving anywhere I would think – esp with the slump in economy still being in a hurt the way it is. I take it that you have at least lived there in your house for some time now? Seeings that I don´t know your buy in situation there I have no idea if you even have any built up ´´equity´´ in your house at present. I would hope that you do, but with ´´short sales´´, and everything else being what they are today – I guess most people selling their house at the last minute are just lucky to break even at best. I was just watching a couple TV news clips the other day showing people trying to sell their homes, and what the new home buyers expected from the seller. Boy – talk about ´´wanting the moon´´ and everything else in-between – including the COW that jumped over it as well – OUCH – tough market out there. It´s almost easier selling a car or boat these days, and even there you take a beating as well, as everyone wants everything for 1/2 off or close to FREE! Unreal – as with the Black Friday store sales now dropping prices by anywhere from 50% to 85% retail wise it sure doesn´t make selling a house any easier as it were – not with people´s brains being programmed that way – that´s for sure!! Double whammy for sure! Maybe after all these crazy store sales it´ll get better – you think? Let´s hope so anyway. I still can´t believe the lousy GOP´s are still trying to bash & trash anything good that Obama puts forward – as related to a positive economic growth that is. Every time he comes out with good economic news and good economic figures – such as that like with GM the other day – what do the lousy GOP´s do? They go slam him for the GM bailout as though it meant nothing at all. Pretty pathetic crap huh? They did the same d a m n thing to poor Jimmy Carter, and even tried doing it to Bill Clinton. Of course Clinton was in a much better driver´s seat than Carter was, and he wasn´t coming off the Vietnam War aftermath like Jimmy was – tough position to be in either way. Same as taking Obama having to try and fix the economic MESS that those 2 GOP idiots bush/cheney made during their 8 failed years of running this once great country in the crapper with their asinine WARS, and their sucking every penny out of the taxpayers to no end. It just never ends with the lousy GOP´s huh? I guess we´re lucky to even have Turkey´s on the dinner table this year with everything being what it is and all. I guess you could say that it´s truly a time to be thankful for something this year – huh? What else? I finally got Dave´s custom Foam Cutting Power Supply all squared away last week THUR, and boy does that thing crank out the juice now! He needs it to cut custom pieces of Low Density Foam for his custom wheelchair mods at the VA Hospital that I go to. The original TRIAC circuit that he used was ´´flawed´´ from the start, and it never did work right but say 25% efficient at best. Now it really cranks utilizing better than 70% of the gated Triac´s A/C Sine-wave power curve (I know over your head – hahaha). HE is very happy now! Tonight all I´m doing is fixing someone´s Headphones by rewiring a new power cord to replace the broken one that he has. That should be a quick 1/2 hours work at best for the $20 he is paying me. Time for some last minute food shopping for tomorrow and it´s a wrap. The good news here is that I don´t have to wait another month to get in and have my US done. I finally got the right poop – as well as some good news this morning for once – that I can do a walk-in on FRI morning – as it looks to be a slow day there – so I´m being told by the Dept Head there. Yay for me!!! I´ll be glad to get that first part out of the way so I can now get scheduled for my Surgery Consult – which is the next step. Double YAY! I´ll keep you posted as to how that´s going – as no one likes to have any surgery done if they can help it, but this time around I may have to. Keep a good thought and have a great Turkey Day there!
