Rating: love these things

I bought this for holding my camera. I already have one that I use for my light. The curly part disconnects to really stretch out if you want to extend your reach, but clips it in closer to your body if you so desire. Very handy!!

I got this to help keep track of my BC knife. Easy to hook up and with the clip keeps it in, but can unclip and use the knife/tool with no problems.

Great price and works well to keep you camera close by. Quality is good and product is easy to use. Would recommend this product for anyone who like to take photos or videos underwater.

Not as compact as a retractable clip but much more affordable.

Rating: Great for Hanging a Dive Light
Reviewer: Mark Hinrichsen,
I wanted something for my dive light which is too heavy for a regular retractable lanyard. This works perfectly for something a bit heavier. I can see this also great for a heavier camera.

Rating: Coil Lanyard is exactly what I needed
Reviewer: Kim B.,  - View all my reviews
I needed something small and lightweight for my slate. This is exactly what I was looking for. I can easily retrieve and use my slate without unhooking the coil but if my buddy or another diver needs to borrow it, I can unhook it for extra length. Then snap, its right back where it belongs.

Works as advertised. Keeps things close to the vest when not in use, but can easily extend to arms length once deployed. Considering purchasing another so I can carry my camera on one and light on another.

Rating: Coil Lanyard Worked
Reviewer: Kevin Gannon,  - View all my reviews
Chose this equipment to use with new underwater light as a less pricey alternative to a coil retracter. Easily adapted to rental BCD, and stayed tucked away in smallish pocket till needed. Long enough extended to freely use light without concern and free hands. Got black, might opt for a color easier to pick up at a distance. Good buy

i have yet to dive with this item but, it looks like it will work fine. the coil portion of the lanyard is sturdy. i plan to use this for my dc1000. quality construction and ease of use are my main reasons for purchasing this item.
