Looking for something strong for a heavy camera. The weak points on most of these lanyards seems to be how the coil part is attached to the clip part. I cant tell from the photo how the coil part is connected to the snap part on this particular lanyard.
Bob thank you for your reply, but that did not answer my question. The other one I bought from you is this one. http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-98/030769/Innovative-Stainless-Steel-Carabiner-Coil-Divers-Lanyard.html Are they both crimped exactly the same? Thank you. gayle
Hello, I need a lanyard that is strong enough to use with my hook while diving in the strong currents of Komodo, Indonesia. What material is this cord made of? Obviously it is very important that it doesnt break. I have used rope in the past but then I have to roll it up while diving, not so much fun and sometimes dangerous. If you dont think its strong enough, what lanyard would you recommend? Thanks, Julie
This item is not designed as a reef hook. Look at http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-117/031589/Trident-Reef-Hook.html
i was wondering if this would be a good product to use to connect to my speargun to my BC
This coil lanyard would work as well as anything else. Connecting a gun to a bcd can be problematic in that the gun always seems to be in the way when it''s not in your hands and the time it takes to retrieve it when you want to take a shot would almost certainly mean missing the shot.
