Reviewer: Chase Brunton,
As a first-time diver, this bag is perfect for carrying all of my things in one place.
The only downside is that your stuff isnt protected very well. Other than a small pocket for your mask, everything goes in one place, which is fine for your suit, flippers, boots and gloves, but your snorkel is open to damage more easily, as its thrown in the same carrying space as those larger items.

Have used the backpack twice in typical dive boat settings and I am pleased with how sturdy it is and how much capacity it carries. It makes handling wet gear a snap and it seems built to last for a while.

Well made, nice quality. I wish the cinch at the top had something to hold it shut though. Opens up when full...

Jeff:
What is a practical weight limit for the bag? I have about 50 lbs. of lead weights etc. Id like a bag for. If this isnt that strong, please let me know what I can find here that might do the trick. thanks!
Will this bag carry fins, mask, snorkel plus one bcd you think??
Darrick (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
Hello Christina, this bag is big enough to carry a full set of gear. If you would like to place an order or have any other questions please feel free to give us a call at 1.800.347.2822.
Daniel:
how much weight can this bag carry is it safe to put my regulator/computer without a protective bag at the bottom of the bag can i put my bcd with their weights (12 lbs) or is it better to put them in another bag?
Darrick (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
Hello Daniel, yes you can put all of your items in this bag. I would suggest that you put your regulator in the bag last and I would suggest carrying your weight in a separate bag just to save wear and tear on your gear.
Bob (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
No bag is designed to hold your lead weights other than one specifically designed to carry them. Beyond that, it will easily hold the rest of your diving gear.
Brooke:
Hi,
I was wondering if the scuba deluxe heavy duty mesh backpack bag is tall enough to fit free-diving fins?
Thanks!

It will not be tall enough to fit free dive fins properly.
