Rating: awesome Snorkel gear bag
Reviewer: renee s.
Just got back from 2 weeks in Belize. After 14 dives with this bag carrying our mask, fins, etc. I am very happy with my purchase. This is a great bag that really fits two sets of snorkel gear plus a towel, extra clothing, go pro, etc. The backpack straps make it easy to carry to and from the dive boat, also came in handy when biking 20 miles rt from one end of Ambergris Caye to the other, to then throw in a kayak and go for a snorkel. Great storage pockets and very roomy main pocket. Only complaint would be that the zippers started to freeze up after the first day on the boat. Make sure to rinse daily, put some silicon on the zippers and it should last a good long time.

Worked great for my family to carry our snorkel bags on the plane from the US to Cayman Islands. We were set for hotel to beach snorkeling and dive shop. They fit long fins great. The mask compartment was big enough for our masks. You could easily stuff in extras, such as a rashguard, sunscreen, and defogger.

I recently purchased the fin and snorkel bag for my vacation. I was able to back all I needed for snorkeling and even packed it in my luggage bag. My order was delivered very quickly and made for a well organized and enjoyable trip. I would highly recommend this purchase.

My husband loves the backbag bag! It is easy to carry due to the backpack style and has plenty of room for fins, mask, snorkel, and much more. It has two pockets on the outside as well as a very roomy inside.

Rating: Traveling snorkel gear bag

Like the fin bag. The bag was put in large suitcase and only fit corner to corner standing on its side, which makes it hard to pack around. The front mask pocket works better for accessories, which is very handy. The lower pocket is not very deep and the zipper access is hard to get to, the upper mask pocket is setting to close on top of it. The lower pocket works well for a large ziplock or water proof bag for things you dont want wet, but must have, passport, cash, etc. The mask pocket will fit a mask, but is to small for me. You must fold the sides of your mask in to fit. I have the average to long full foot fins and they fit well with room for my mask at the top. I even had another set of medium open heel fins turned the opposite way in also. Like a back pack, if you have something in the bottom, you have to remove or dig past everything to get it. All in all the bag works well with the double backpack style straps (makes it easy to carry and frees up your hands) and is worth the money. I liked well enough for the money, I ordered a 2nd.

Rating: Awesome bag

Bought the exact same bag for myself after buying one for my daughter. It really holds everything together quite nicely. Its easy to load and unload with those long fins, and easy to clean. I got the Fins, mask, snorkel, gloves and my light vest in it. I was surprised at all the gear I had in the old bag, but this one took it all.

Rating: Holds equipment for an easy carry
Reviewer: John S.
Great for fins, mask, snorkel, wetsuit and some items. Used in destinations where we had to do some walking to the dive shop and backpack feature very comfortable. Only drawback is even with solid rinsing, after two years the zippers "freeze up" but for the price, cant go wrong even replacing every couple years.

Rating: Great Bag
Reviewer: John F.
Got this little bag for a trip to the tropics, and it was indeed quite handy. Proved great for a little snorkeling trip and hike. The bag seems relatively well built for a $30 bag. All in all, not a bad little bag. The "mask" pouch is way too small for a mask, as others have said, but it does work great for little things like an energy bar, spare straps, small dive knife, zip ties, etc, etc. Id recommend.

Rating: Handy! Love it!
Reviewer: Lisa S.  -  View all my reviews
I love this bag. Use it mostly for snorkeling. I can toss it into the overhead bin on the plane. I can throw it over my shoulder and still have two hands to carry other stuff. The large compartment is big enough to hold my fins and my boots which is super handy. I only wish the space for my mask was larger. I have prescription lenses in my mask so I am super paranoid about damaging the mask...I keep it in the original plastic box which I have to carry separately or put in my other carry bag. I really wish this backpack bag had something to accommodate it. That is the only reason I gave it 4-stars. But I find this bag super handy.

One of the reviews indicates you can store and carry two sets of snorkel gear plus towels. Id like to confirm.

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Phil, depends on the size of the fins but this bag is designed to carry one set of fins.

  • Karen:

Since the bag is designed for open heal fins as we have, where are your booties to go with this bag. I have read mention of other stuff, but didnt see mention of whether there is space for booties.

Bob  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

The bag is only designed for mask, fins and snorkels. I typically put the booties inside the foot pocket of the fin and fold the tops over, if using a high top boot.

  • pat:

what is the zipper made of? my last bag the zipper corroded fro the salt water

Bob  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

    It is made of plastic.
