Rating: great bag
Reviewer: Robert F., Sunday, July 10, 2011
This bag is great, replaced the one I used to have (lost in a fire). Big enough for a full set of dive gear, also very durable, I traveled with this several times on airlines and never had any issues, it was pretty much like new until the day I lost it. Highly recommended.

Rating: Works Great
Reviewer: Andrew C., Friday, May 14, 2010
Used on a recent dive trip and was able to fit two 3 mil suits, two sets of fins, 2 masks, 2 snorkels, 4 booties, 1 BC and 1 Regulator in the bag. Considering how much weight was in the bag it was surprisingly comfortable. I really have no complaints and will see how it holds up in the long run.

Rating: Nice, roomy dive bag
Reviewer: Mark W., Friday, October 30, 2009 - View all my reviews
I purchased 3 of these for each diver in our group for a recent trip to Maui. These bags are great! The opening of this bag is large enough that you can easily slip your BC into it with no effort, and there is plenty of room to store my dive gear (3mm wet suit, regulator, fins, mask, snorkel, booties), in addition to my underwater camera, towel and a water bottle. The side pouch is large enough to store all of my dive tools and spare parts. Its very rugged, and it has nice padded shoulder pads for packing all of this stuff from our car (which was usually several blocks away) to the boat. I really like this bag!

Rating: Best Value Boat Bag
Reviewer: William Gibbons, Monday, March 30, 2009
Bag appears to be very well made of tough materials. Has two zippered compartments with one for small items and what appears to be a dry area for keeping clothing out of the way. Bag is accessible either through the top (drawstring) or from the side with a large zipper which should make it easier to grab and locate items without pawing through the whole bag. Overall it appears to be a winner and Im looking forward to the summer diving season to put it through its paces and see how well it holds up.

Rating: So far, so good

Ive only used this bag on one dive trip to Hawaii, but so far it seems great. The only problem is that because it holds so much, I end up carrying most of the gear for the whole family.

Rating: AKONA DELUXE MESH BACKPACK
Reviewer: Geoffrey Rand, Sunday, March 11, 2007 - View all my reviews
Extremely well built backpack. Cinch cord, grommets, zippers, handles, straps, and mesh all seem overbuilt and look like theyll last as long as the gear that you haul in it.
The outside pocket is large enough to hold a reg, however, I use mine to hold my spare parts kit along with sun block, hat, sunglasses, etc. Theres a lot of room in there.
The water resistant inside pocket runs the length of the bag and will hold a towel or similar sized items.
The bag will easily hold two sets of personal gear (mask, snorkel, fins) with room to spare, or can fit one complete set of diving gear.
Much better quality and much cheaper price than a similar mesh backpack sold at my local dive shop.

This pack is great for moving your gear to the dock or the dive boat. The size allows to you pack all your gear, its large opening makes packing easy and the side zipper is convenient for gaining access.

Rating: Outstanding Backpack
Reviewer: Vicky Santiago, Friday, October 13, 2006
I love this backpack. Its the perfect size, the main opening at the top is wide enough so there is no struggling trying to put my BC in it, and its easy to tote around even when its full of gear. I love the fact that there are two dry pockets (although the one on the front could be a little bigger), and the zipper that runs the whole length of the bag is a great idea as it makes it easy to remove items at the bottom without unloading the whole thing. Well worth the money.

Rating: A great bag

Good construction and a nice big pocket in front makes this an ideal backpack bag for me. If I was to wish for anything, it might be for just a little longer zipper on the side.
