I am totally sold on the new MIFLEX hoses. They are light weight and very flexible as advertised. they lay closer to your BC or can be easily looped out of the way making cave and wreck diving easier and safer. I replaced all my hoses with MILFLEX and really like the bright yellow on the safety second and the lighter feel of the hose on my primary reg.

i will be putting this to good use next week, it came as expected, fit perfectly water here is a little hard so i will be trying it in a pool. very flexible

light and flexible. one less thick stiff hose and a little less weight are improvements on the whole bcd/regulator package. installation the same as any HP hose.

Hello Blane, yes this hose would go into the high pressure port of a ScubaPro 1st stage. But high pressure hoses are designed for computers or analog gauges. Not for the low pressure regulators or power inflator.

Could you tell me if the new "XS Scuba MIFLEX HD Braided High Pressure Scuba Gauge Hose" comes with a high pressure spool. If it does, do you know if it is compatable with the SUUNTO Quick Disconnect. If it doesnt come with the high pressure spool, do you sell the high pressure spool for this hose that will work with the SUUNTO Quick Disconnect? Thanks!

Hello Richard, the HP hoses do not come with that. That is part of the gauge set-up. You would need to contact our Repair@scuba.com. That would be something that they could order up for you. Is the xs Scuba MIFLEX carbon hd hose compatible with the basic oceanic spg gauge and its high pressure spool or does one need to order a special high pressure spool? After I recieved my xs miflex carbon hose and changed out the hoses with my oceanic pressure gauge and using the high pressure spool that came with the oceanic gauge , I notice there is a alot play ( sliding up and down at the female connection and gauge ) . Is a different or longer high pressure spool required?

These are the most current item form the manufacturer. Typically 32" - 36" are the lengths used on HP hoses, but that is totally up to the user.

I manage a dive shop in South Carolina, USA and I have a customer needing a 36" or longer HP hose for his Suunto Cobra first generation model. Will this hose work and if not what do you recommend

As long as the fitting on the gauge side is a regular hp connection like most pressure gauges this should fit.
