Rating: Spare case
Reviewer: Bart B., Friday, October 23, 2009 - View all my reviews
A tiny amount of moisture got on my battery probably a year ago and it slow build up some kind of gas in behind the battery. When trying to remove the screw down cover it exploded from the pressure that had built up. I dont blame anybody but myself. So from now on I will always carry not just a spare battery but also a spare cover.

Rating: Exrta batteries can save a dive trip
Reviewer: Peter Z., Sunday, July 12, 2009
I will always carry an extra battery for my computer - I had what I thought was new one fail on a dive trip and was unable to locate a replacement since we were on live aboard - I had to break out my mechanical pressure and depth gauge along with my old back-up wrist computer - Lesson learned never leave home without extra computer battery

Rating: Replacement Battery
Reviewer: Dwayne S., Wednesday, December 17, 2008 - View all my reviews
Replacing the O ring when replacing the battery is a factory recommendation. The last thing you want to do is skimp on an O ring on a $700 computer. I purchased two kits so I could have one in my spare kit just in case.

I bought a spare battery to add to my sav-a-dive kit. Your salesmen was quite knowledgeable about the Sherwood Wisdom I dive computer I bought. The Sherwood rep I met here in a dive shop in Central FL told me I could pick up a spare battery at WalMart. The SCUBA.Com salesmen said that is true, however if your O rings are bad and water seeps in and ruins your dive computer you have voided the warranty for not replacing the O ring when you replace the battery. Thank you for saving me a possible major future disappointment. Patrick Mulloney

Everything you needed. Battery/o-ring/lubricant. Not the cheapest price I found, but since I was buying other things this was convenient to have shipped at the same time.
