My Wife and I will be going snorkeling in the Galapogos Islands. We want to get shorty wet suits but confused on what we should buy. I am 6 feet 7 inches tall and 230 lbs. My wife is 5 feet 2 inches tall and 130 lbs. Can you help with sizes and what we should buy.
The waist and chest are the most important measurements for the fit with a wetsuit. Height usually will work even if it is one to two inches short or tall. Weight will depend on the divers body build and is the last measurement to consider. A full suit either in 3mm or 5mm if you tend to get cold.
ION® RACING SUIT
Sizes XS - 3XL
The ION Series triathlon racing suits are designed with a specific focus in mind, to keep triathletes comfortable and moving fast throughout a race. The ION suits are the perfect complement to our triathlon NRG wetsuit line, wearing an ION suit underneath an NRG wetsuit will drastically help minimize transition times by already having a garment on for cycling and running. And the ION suits are as good out of the water as they are in; constructed from a low drag skin-like compression material which dries fast, has superb breathability and moisture wicking properties. Another important feature is the built in synthetic chamois which dries fast, allows for comfort and is low profile during the run. The ION suits are perfect for any level of triathlete.
