Questions and Answers for Neosport by Henderson Short Sleeve Water Shirts:
john:
We plan to spend nine days heavy snorkleing (no scuba) on the BIG Island of Hawaaii within the next few weeks. I have a very lightweight suit (less than 1 mm), but figure a black "scar guard" tshirt should be enough. I was here ten years ago and scubad daily and do not remember ever being cold, but better safe than sorry if not to expensive.
I live in MIchigan, and unlikely Ill be getting back for an adventure like this again soon or ever, so need some advice???

6 or 8 oz. lycra will not give any thermal protection. You will need at least a 17 oz or .5 mm material to add warmth.

Well we heavy snorkleing but not diving on the Kon side of the BIG Island of hawaii for nine days. I have a very lightweights weightsuit (1 mm
?), and have only one night dive scheduled witht he mantas. I was here ten years ago and it was my first time, and I dont remember wearing anything nor ever bing cold. However if at a reasonable cost, I think a black "scar guard" may be enough for me to get by. True? Reccomendations?
