The lights are great quality. The only problem is the switch on the big one is slughtly too small to manipulate with thick gloves.

    Hello Joe, yes this light would work for you. I like the LED version of lights. The LED give off a true white light that does not scare the fish as much.

AMP 1L W/ BOTTLE OPENER & CONE

The tiny Amp 1L packs a 45 lumen LED. With a large carabiner loop, this handheld light can hang off of a gear loop on your pack or the inside of your tent. Amp 1 L comes with a snap on cone to convert your flashlight into a marker light or to provide area lighting. When the adventure is over, this light still comes in handy with its built-in bottle opener. Amp 1L is waterproof to 100M (330ft).

LED OPTIC COLLIMATOR
A collimator gathers all available light from an LED in the form of scattered rays and re-emits the light as parallel rays, making it more optically efficient than a standard reflector. Princeton Tec calibrates each collimator to the type of LED and application of each light. With proprietary optimized collimator / lens systems, Princeton Tec continues to advance LED technology.

HEATSINK TECHNOLOGY
Princeton Tec has developed proprietary ultralight heatsinks to protect LED products from overheating. Even though LEDs operate at much lower temperatures than traditional incandescent bulbs, they still generate heat. If this heat is not dissipated, the LED will suffer irreversible damage. By using heatsinks, Princeton Tec lights can burn at extreme brightness levels for long periods of time. REGULATED LED / CONSTANT BRIGHTNESS
Princeton Tec lights that feature regulated LEDs have a sophisticated regulating circuit that maintains initial brightness as long as the batteries have sufficient voltage. Traditional lights are very bright initially, but immediately begin to dim and continue to dim until the batteries are drained. Constant Brightness is a term used to describe products that have regulated LEDs.
