These lights are bright in the water, great price, LED so they get long battery life, and are all around solid lights.
The flare only blinks, doesnt have an always-on mode, but is a good marker. Im not sure Id use these lights in overhead environments since they dont have the power/robustness of canister lights, but for open water dives absolutely.

Rating: Good product, expensive when ship to canada

I have nothing wrong to say about the product. The only thing it was showing on the web site "free shipping" if more than $25.00 Well guess what because im from Canada it cost me an additional $30.00 plus when i got it home i had to pay another $24.00 for custom. So total cost for my product was almost $200.00
I was really disappointing. Next time i will buy in Canada. Your company as great product with good price, but when ship to Canada it comes to the same price as here.

Tried my hand at night diving recently. These were easy to work and lit up the night. Stronger than the non LED types and I used them while taking photos deep and they brought back the color.

i thought the quality & value were excellent. i suggest getting a lanyard to kepp the larger hand-held at close reach (and to avoid ping it in the ocean).

IS this a good first set of lights for a new diver, or is there something better available?
In addition to having the lanyard, do the Miniwave and Impact XL directly clip onto the harness D-rings? Or does a tether/w clip need to be bought for hanging on the harness?
After about half a dozen dives, the light on one of my Impact XLs from the Island Pack failed. When I swap out the light head from one of my other sets the light works. I cant seem to find a replacement light head for the Impact XL included in this set. Could you point me in the right direction?
