I used this strobe with my SeaLife reefmaster mini for the first time on a live-aboard trip. With little experimentation with settings the pictures started coming out great. I would highly recommend this strobe. Most settings can be left at the default if used with a Sealife camera.

Easy to use and makes a big difference when taking pictures. Compared pictures with and without external flash and there is a big difference. The colors are more vibrant. Wish I had the flash sooner than later. Great flash.

This flash works really well- adds a lot to the underwater pictures that you cant get from just the flash on the camera.
The one problem Ive had is keeping the arm together (the piece between the base connected to the camera and the actual flash). I adjust the flash position to get the appropriate angle for whatever Im photographing. Invariably, by the end of the dive it has become loose again and I have to hold the flash. I found twist ties in multiple places down the arm solve this issue. There werent enough bands on that piece originally if youre going to be moving the arm while underwater.
That being said I have recommended this flash to several of my diving photographer friends who like to take medium range shots adn dont want to break the bank to get them.

Was more than pleased with my new Sealife Digital Pro Flash. Of course it is a perfect match to my Sealife DC800 8.0 Megapixel Camera. Instructions were easy to follow and I was able to take underwater photos of a quality I have been unable to reach before. You can see some of my recent Key Largo underwater photos on my scuba.com diver website. ("Waxed dolphin or the Green Flash".

I really like the flash. It was easy to use and very uncomplicated. Im not very camera knowledgable so this was a snap for me. Just attach the camera, slide in the probe, and go !!! Quick and easy....

Rating: Livens up the colors

When diving in deeper water, or water with less visibility, having the Sealife Digital Pro Flash added the much needed light to produce true color in my photos, and prevented them from looking solely like various shades of blue.
Setup is easy and the added weight (unavoidable) is not too much to make me notice. The arms flexibility also is helpful for getting the light to come from just the right angle. Highly recommend this for any point and shoot digital camera user!
