If you have the Sea and Sea DX-1G camera outfit, you need this lens. It makes all the difference in the world. As with any wide angle lens, you know you get a better field of view in your photograph, this is a plus when shooting big objects, and for things you want to show more of in your photo. Im glad I took the plunge, and got this lens, and Im also glad I bought it from a great place like scuba.com
