It makes a real high frequency whine while plugged in. I cant have it chatging in my bedroom but it works fine. (PS. The original charger power cord makes the same noise, so if you dont hear it you wont hear this one)

I bought an extra battery with my DC600 and didnt realize the DC600 came with a charger so I ordered a charger with my camera. I ended up with two batteries, two chargers and one power cord. Now I have two chargers, two batteries and two cords. Glad to have it all but didnt really need it. Now I can plug both batteries in and forget about it.
