Having kicked myself countless times for not having an extra camera battery for my other digital "land camera", I decided to get an extra battery for my new dive camera. Im very glad I did. Without it I would have missed all of the pictures and video from the last of 3 dives it was used on (most of which are the best ones of the whole day.) Be wise and get at least one. If youre going on a multi-day trip I think its best to have the extra wall-charger as well. Money well invested I say.

This is a must have! In the past my battery would die out about 1/2 way through my second dive. This battery packs enough juice for more than three dives. I was able to take lots of pictures and video clips and the battery never even got to 1/4 left. there is nothing more frustrating than ending a dive with the best photo opportunity only to find your battery is dead. This new battery solves that problem!

i bought the battery and charger from scuba.com. it was shipped with just a few days notice for a trip for my trip to bonaire. i was buying so i would never run out of battery for my dive camera(sealife dc500). the battery is also the new d one (750 mhz) when the competition was selling the old ones or not telling which you would receive. i would definitely purchase from scuba.com again.

I am happy with this extra battery. I am also very happy with the sealife DC600 picture quality. However I am very disapointed in how fast the DC600 will drain a battery. It must be shut off immeadiately between shots . Therefore the extra battery is a must and must be changed between dives. Richard

This new extended life battery for the DC500 was just what I needed after using the original one for two years on more than 100 dives. The old one started to have insufficient juice for a whole dive. This new one doesnt even show after an hour of diving that is is less than full.

The DC500 is a good camera but has very bad battery life. That is something manufacturers are improving in future models. I highly recommend getting 2 extra batteries and keeping them charged. Nothing is worse than being on a dive boat and having your battery go dead.

I found that a couple of extra batteries are necessary if you are diving more than once a day. You will want to change your battery before every dive. It really sucks when your camera battery has failed because thats when the picture of the trip comes along.

This battery is much better than the one that came with the camera. I had no power issues for two tanks. The old one barely lasted one tank. It was more enjoyable to be able to leave the camera on and not miss a shot because I had no power.

I bought the battery because the one that came with my camera lasted for barely one dive. This new battery lasted through two dives and surface pictures later that night. I just wish the camera would have come with a good battery like this.

Gotta have at least 1 spare battery, I usauly dont need it but if it dies while your diving you will be very XXssed off, so just put in the spare b-fore you get in the water and you will not have a worry in the world!!!

I REALLY like having the extra battery!!!! Great for a LONG dive day and drinks at night. I bought an extra charger and power supply too so I can charge them both at the same time. Battery wont charge in the camera.

You dont want to be without a spare battery. Halfway through a dive and your battery is dead because you left your camera on? Just pop the extended life battery in and no worries!
