Last year I bought (through Amazon) the Dive Optix glass bifocals that you glued into your mask (so I could read my gauges.) They set up for 2 weeks before use. After 45 min diving in warm Caribbean waters, the lenses started sliding around my mask. Cleaned and re-installed them every day and every day theyd slide around. Do these stick-on lenses actually stay in place? If not, can I return them after my trip?
Hi James, Sounds like you got a bad pair of lens. Link below is to our returns if you need to send them back to us. http://www.scuba.com/rma.asp
How do I figure out what strength stick-on optic lense i should order?

Hi, Are these the same as Dive Optx? The reviews all refer to Dive Optx. Thanks, Mark
Hello Mark, Thank you for your inquiry! Yes, the Dive Opix’s are similar to our Dive Optics the Stick-On Optic Lenses for Scuba Dive Masks. http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-54/028500/Dive-Optics-Stick-On-Optic-Lenses-for-Scuba-Dive-Masks.html If you would like to place an order or have questions about this product, please contact one of our certified Dive Instructors at SCUBA.com by calling 800-247-2822 <> 949-221-9300 or e-mail us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Is the size of these lenses about like a nickel, or quarter? Is the price quoted for one lens, a set of two or what? Each of my eyes has a different prescription. Thank you.
Do these lenses get cemented in like the old glass ones or are they like a static cling vinyl? What is their diameter, and could I make a bifocal by butting 2 halves together?
These use a static cling to attach to the glass, about the size of a quarter. Do not know if doubling up the lenses would work as that is not how they were designed. As long as the item is not used in the water you have up to 60 days to refund or exchange it.
these bi focal s sound great! i have a prescription mask, how or can i order these to go in the bottom of my mask?
I am in need of some type of lense not really reading just to see in general while snorkeling on Vacation we love doing this but didnt want to have special mask made for we dont get to do as often as we would like ..what do you suggest ? Thanks for your time
Hello Robin, if you are looking for a mask that will take optical lens: http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-53/Masks-Masks-w--Optical-Lenses.html. All of the mask on that page will take optical lens. These are not special mask these are standard masks that take optical lens.
Hello: I use a few different masks, so can these lenses be carefully removed from one mask, and put into another, or do I need to buy pairs for all masks? I have 20/15 vision, but at 52 now I use +2.00 reading glasses. I had a lot of problems seeing my gauges when diving last Jan. and Feb. in Asia! Also, Im old-school and still spit in my masks for no fogging. If using these lenses, what do you recommend best to keep ones mask from fogging and maximizing the lenses life? This looks like a great product for many of us! Thank you so much for you reply, LtC Michael J. McManus USN ret.
According to the manufacturer they can be removed and reinstalled in another mask. I personally have never had any luck with that what so ever. I have not changed anything in my use of defog when using these lenses, using everything from spit, kelp leaves or what ever commercial defog is available at my dive site.
I am considering buying the stick on lenses for my mask. What is the difference between w/defog or without please Julie
1. is the size of the Dive Opics the same as SeeDive? trying to find the biggest stick-ons possible, as they all seem to be just too small. 2. which stick-on is the largest...and best?
Hello Robert, there are all designed at the same size. If you are looking to get a bigger lens then you should think about getting optical lens mask. If the lens is ground into the glass you are looking at having the bottom 1/3 of the lens in that diopter.
