The first application on a new mask seemed to upset my girlfriend. It smeared up the lens and she spent 15 minutes with paper towels in our resort room trying to clear it up. I explained that the benifits later would pay off, but for a beginner, she found it oxymoronic, blurring a lens to see clearly and all. When the product was put to the test in pool and ocean waters, it worked perfect!She didnt notice what she didnt see,(fog)But I did. For those of you looking for a classier way to anti fog than spit, this is your best choice.

Great Product! The consistency is similar to toothpaste and I attribute that qualty to how well it works. You can see where you apply it and therefore know that you covered the entire surface area. Rinses easy and lasts for the entire duration of the dive.

Have you ever wondered what a country mle is? Anyway this is by far and away the best defog. It works far superior to anything else. One application is good for at least two dives and usually the whole day. I wont use anythign else.

i am still trying to find the perfect defogger... this works well and is good for 2dives before my mask fogged up and had to use again...difficulty squeezing some of the goop out...it worked great at the start of the dive but once sea water entered your mask it kept fogging...i used it mostly when my mask was dry and before the dive.

this is the best defog youll ever find. place a couple of small s on the inside of the mask. rub and rinse. and it will last for the entire dive and more.

It certainly is better than spit however, I have yet to have it last "all day"...maybe my nose leaks to much! A good product I would recommend and only a very small amount is needed per application. The 4oz bottle should last a long time.

some people didnt like that it is so thick (like toothpaste)but it didnt bother me 1 bit. just dont rub it near seems where rubber meets glass cause it can be a bit hard to rinse. they say its good for 3 dives, i reapplied every dive to be sure and never had 1 hint of fog (which is my biggest peeve). some may also consider the larger bottle too big for a bc pocket, just leave it on the boat.

This defog item was a suprise, as it was a gel and not a liquid. It worked perfectly to keep the mask clean and clear. I did rinse the mask out with bottled water a few times, before I put the mask on for the dive. There was no fogging from the temperature difference upon diving into the water. I only wish I had purchased a larger bottle of Mask Defog!
