Rating: Great underwater camera
Reviewer: Susan Mann, Sunday, October 25, 2009 - View all my reviews
I really like this camera. IT is easy to use and very light weight. Yet is able to dive to 100 feet. I would recommend it for those who want to take good quality photos without having to fight with a larger camera. You will enjoy it.

Rating: Pixsea Camera
Reviewer: Renee B ALAKSA, Wednesday, September 02, 2009
I thought I was getting a deal with this camera and instead the fact that it takes 4-6 seconds to take a picture, and that it cant take a SD card over 1 gig really stunk. I ended up not using after the one time I tried and every picture was awful. I would love to send it back and apply the $99 to a decent camera.

Rating: I was suprised
Reviewer: Brent Boydston, Monday, July 20, 2009
I bought this camera for my honeymoon to Grenada. For the price I was very suprised with how well that camara functioned and the quality of the pictures. I used the camera for shallow dives (35 feet and less) and some snokeling trips. It worked very well. The two problems I had with it 1.) the flash seemed to add too much light and it washed out the picutres and 2.) after repeated dives and snokeling the buttons began to stick. This was somewhat fixed by a couple trips to sink to let it soak overnight. But really got fixed once I got back and could clean it property.

Rating: Great Buy
Reviewer: Mike W., Sunday, April 26, 2009
The first one I bought had a cracked housing. Refund was prompt and hassle free. The next 2 that I purchased worked great. Software is helpful in getting the best out of the color but doesnt work with VISTA. Wish I could share the pictures that I took but Im not allowed to post a URL. The camera was used for snorkeling and not deep dives. the lens is macro and works best at distances of less than 20 feet.

Rating: Decent pictures, terrible flash
Reviewer: Joseph W., Monday, February 16, 2009
the pictures we took in maui came out pretty nicely with the digital camera. this leads me to believe that it is possible to take good pictures with the camera. however, using the flash saturated the image and ruined the pictures taken with the flash. i think this is a problem of design, the flash reflects off the housing and back into the lens because of poor design. also, the dives were a maximum of 40 feet so this wasnt a great test for its ability to withstand pressure. (there were a few lets of leakage after a 30-40 foot dive). also, the camera wasnt excellent at picking up colors. overall, worth the money.

Rating: Snorkeling Yes, Diving No!
Reviewer: Kenneth Murlin, Tuesday, August 12, 2008
Bought the Suprema Pixsea for a trip to Jamaica. It came with instructions to check the u/w housing for leaks before using. I tried it out in a pool and it worked great. Takes good shots in and out of the water with and without the housing. However on my first real dive at 60 ft. the housing leaked and it never worked again. So I would reccomend for snorkeling as it worked great at shallow depths but leaked when on its first dive.

I tried out my camera in my daughters swimming pool with my grandchildren. It took some good pictures, but I didnot have by googles to be able see. I am looking forward to using it when I go scuba diving in a couple of months.

Rating: Suprema Pixsea 5.0
Reviewer: David Lovejoy, Wednesday, August 06, 2008
Ive only had a chance to use the camera once. The camera is very light weight and the controls are easy to use. The visability was very poor on this dive but I was able to get some reasonably good pics in the 2-3 foot range. but, some picture were blurred because it was difficult to maintain position due to the current. Im happy with the camera so far. I cant wait to get it to the Caribbean to see how it performs under better conditions. A dtrawback is that the software that comes with the camera is not supported by MS Vista.

Rating: Suprema Camera
Reviewer: Paul Willis, Wednesday, July 30, 2008
The plastic housing at the lense leaks badly at even snorkel depth. It would flood the camera at SCUBA depth pressure. The big o-ring for the clamshell housing seems to work, at least at snorkeling depths. Camera itself takes good pictures and is easy to use.

Rating: Took good pics...for a day
Reviewer: Don J Dugi, Thursday, July 31, 2008 - View all my reviews
Im not sure if mine was faulty but it flooded at the end at little the first time and completely the second time I used it. The pictures were good. But I will definately spend the extra money and get a better model. Good news is that scuba.com made the return process very easy. I will definately purchase more equipment from them!!!
