I have a flash in a DC1400 set. The flash, unknown reason, will not charge if I give it any length of time. Consequently, it will not fire. The on-board flash works just fine. I have done the obvious things like changing the batteries . Does the flash head seem to be a reasonable fix??
Hello Don, yes that would be the replacement head for your broken flash head. As for the cause of your first one to stop working you would need to call SeaLife directly at (856) 866-9191 and speak with there tech support. They might have some way to get your old one back up and running.
I have an SL 960D that died after may years. I would like to replace the head. 1. does the 961 mount with a 4 mm SS horizontal bolt like the 960. I cannot get the black plastic Y off the top of the handle and the photo of the 961 looks thats how its attached. 2. does it use the same fiber optic cable as the 960 3. do you offer a military discount?
Can I just buy the SeaLife Sea Dragon Flash head only SL963 with the defuser . No arms or tray needed.
Hello, yes this is just the head. Bellow is the link for the diffuser. http://www.scuba.com/scuba-gear-540/069913/Sealife-Digital-Pro-Flash-Diffuser.html
