Rating: These clips are great.

when we boat dive, its far easier to clip our bcs off to a floating line in the water, put on our drysuits, mask, and fins on deck, and then finish suiting up in the water. one problem that arises sometimes is that regulator hoses, computer hoses, or drysuit inflator hoses can end up tucked in behind your back or under your cumberbund. i put one clip on a d-ring on the lower part of each of my bc straps (two clips total), and clip all of the hoses to the d-rings before i begin donning the bc. inflator hose and computer hose on left, main regulator and safe-second regulator hoses on the right. now all of the hoses are kept in line with the bc straps while i fasten the cumberbund and the waist strap. then i just unclip the hoses and attach/move them to my normal dive configuration inflator hose to drysuit, computer to retractor, safe-second to mouthpiece holder, main regulator to mouth. no more having to undo and take off the bc and start the process all over again! of course, my dive buddy can always help me get the hoses out from behind my back etc., but i like to try to get myself all squared away by myself. these clips should also be useful in keeping your computer/gauge package from dragging all over the coral when warm water diving. please use one for that purpose or get a gauge retractor!

This is a nice hose retainer clip. Easy to clip on the BC and make sure that youre hoses are where you want them to be. Not as compact as others but there are times where I will use both clips so it is nice to have.

Rating: The hose retainer clip does its job.
Reviewer: David F. Wyckoff, Saturday, October 14, 2006 - View all my reviews
The retainer clips work fine, we use them to hold our Suunto Vyper computers, removing the console and reclipping back underwater as youre swimming is no problem. I have not tried a retractor so I cannot say which would be best. For the price its an easy solution to keeping your equipment from dangling and causing damage to your computer or whatever hose end items you need to clip. Currently I see no reason for the second half of the clip but it is convenient and I could not find any that were only single hose retainer clips.

great for unloading the boat. Clip your first stage to one of your D-rings and this clip keeps your hoses in order so they dont swing around when youre walking

The clip works well. Grabs hold of the hoses firmly, yet you can still release them quickly if needed. Keeps your gear close to you and prevents it from hitting against delicate corals.
