ive been a diver for over 10yrs and an instructor for over 5yrs and i like this bcd. its comfortable, good quality, has very large pockets for storing all the bits i need, d-rings and great integrated weight pockets which are easy to and click into place even when the bcd is on. dont get me wrong its not perfect - i find it a little more tricky to even out the weight on this so i can do a perfect level budda hover for my teaching, and the inflate button is so loud!! fish scarper when you press that thing....but for the money i have found it is one of the best performing bcds on the market.

:
Hello Brian, yes all of the Aqua Lung BCD have the surelock weight system
Judith:
Im 53, 115-120lbs and 26in waist do you think the small or XS would be suitable?
Bill (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
Waist is most important so the XSmall.
Judith:
Does it have the SureLock II weight pockets which are now being recalled by AquaLung?
Bill (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
All of the recalled units have resolved so anything we currently ship will be ok.
Nancy:
I was wondering how they fit women, or would you recommend a "woman specific" model. Thanks!
Darrick (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com)
:
With a "woman specific" model you would get a little more comfort because the cuts of the should straps are designed for women. During classes most dive shops use mens BCD's for women. You will tell a difference when inflating the BC on the surface because usually a woman would find the should straps are up to their ears because the fit just is not perfect. The mens BC's are designed for slightly longer torso's. There is no issue using this BC, but in general you would be more comfortable in a womens BC.
Shawna:
Im 56, 126lbs, and my waist is 27in. My height is the only thing that firmly puts me in a small as opposed to an XS. Which would you reccomend? Thanks for your time.

:
Waist and weight are the two most important measurements the BC should fit snug rather than too big.
