I went with a small rather than an x-small and glad that I did. The dive skin fit perfectly. I was concerned that I should have gotten a 1 mil suit but thankfully this dive skin was all I needed. Highly recommend.

Rating: Glad I purchased one!

Just tried it on at home. Fits great. At about 163 pounds, size medium was the right choice. I especially like the arm and leg loops which will keep it from "riding up" when I put my wet suit on over it. Since I developed a little rash on my last dive trip, look forward to wearing it on the next trip.

This skin is very practical and efficient, especially for use under wetsuit which is how I use it, is light and easy to carry, no place, the waist measurement fits and is very economical, in short has an efficient value for money, a very recommended to buy.

2nd best thing I bought for dredging this year Not only does it give you a added layer for cold water..nut also makes getting in & out of the wet suits a complete ease !! one of my dredge partners decided he didnt need the skin UNTIL the 1st time he crawled out of the 55 degree water after dredging all day & tried to get out of his farmer john suit..I was almost completely dressed before he had the wet suit off !! Highly recommend this skin

Rating: Nice and strecthy lycra dive suit
Reviewer: William B.  -  View all my reviews
I am 6ft tall with short legs and a long torso (yeah,I know, kinda freaky). I have to get a size big enough that my privates are not crushed every time I reach up but not so big that I have a lot of extra leg and arm material dangling. This suit was stretchy enough that I found a size that worked for me. It makes getting my wetsuit on so much easier.

Easy to order, came quickly and was just as advertised. I tried it on and it fit just fine too. I havent had a chance to use it yet, but it felt great and I am very pleased with suit and how quickly it arrived. Highly recommend it to divers but also other water aficianados.

I have several of these by other manufacturers. This is my first OceanQuest skin. Using it both for diving and sun protection when snorkeling. On the plus side the stitching is very good, I would say it is double stitched, and the zipper is very sturdy. It is a little bit heavier than my other skins giving you a little more protection. This also makes it a bit bulky but in the water there is no discernible difference. I dont think you can beat the quality of this item for the price. Very satisfied. Note: I am an experienced diver. I live in the Caribbean and dive a couple times a week.

I bought this to slip on in the morning for a day of diving to make it easy to get into and don my wetsuit. I can just keep on the lycra, or unzip it to the waist for moving about the boat. It dries immediately and allows sipping back into a wet wetsuit easily.

Rating: Perfect!
Reviewer: Elizabeth S.
Bought this suit after returning 2 other from other sites. I get cold easily and I just wanted a skin that was easy to pull on and off to wear under my 3 mil. You would thing that would be easy - but its not! This one is perfect. Now aim ready to bubble up again and be warm and comfortable. Im likely to wear it for snorkel trips too when its Jelly season.

I like your products. This isnt the first time Ive ordered from you guys. The first dive skin I ordersed was very tight. This skin was less tight I think the size was a little off. But I still like the product. I ordered a medium but could have gotten away with a small. Thanks for your products.

Bill  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

    Not available in 1mm.

  • marcia:

looking for a lycra skin for a plus size woman sz 16 (1x) What size should I consider?

Bob  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Unfortunately scuba equipment sizing (especially wetsuits and skins) and fashion sizing usually don''t follow the same mindset when it comes to fit. Using the sizing chart use your waist and bust measurements as your two most important measurements. You want a suit to fit around your torso correctly first, then use your height as a secondary measurement. That should help you get a little bit closer to finding the correct suit.

  • Cheri:

Hi, :) I would like to know if the sizing on this dive skin is true to the chart?? And, is this for Wemon or Men? Thanks for your help!

Greg  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

The sizing is true to the chart.

  • David:

The size XS states that it is for people 55" to 57" and 120 lbs. I am 52" and 110, would the XS still be considerably too large, or do you think that it would work well for me?

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello David, when you are sizing a suit like this. The two most important measurements are going to be your chest and waist. Height is a secondary measurement and weight you throw out the window. If you would like to place an order or have any other questions please feel free to give us a call at 1.800.347.2822.

  • terry:

hi can you ship to the Uk Terry

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Terry, yes we ship all over the world. You would use our Amazon checkout.

  • Re:

I am 56 and 160 lbs. Would a medium be the correct size?

Bob  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Your waist and chest measurements are always going to be the 2 most important measurments when selecting a suit off of a sizing chart. After that, height is the next most important. Your age and weight will have little to no bearing on the suit sizing.

  • Kate:

i am looking for a suit for water aerobics how will the suit hold up to chlorine treated pool water?

Bill  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

This will work in the pool but chlorine does damage the material after period of time. As long as you rinse the suit with fresh water each time after use it will help maintain the suit.

  • JORGE:

Dear Sr I wonder if this dive skin has a certain degree of stretch like neoprene, to a greater or lesser degree?. I ask this because my measurements are between two sizes (XL/2XL) Im close to 2XL according to the table and my question is choosing between the lesser or greater. My height is 510 "and greater size for 61" / 63 "is much difference in height. Wrinkles under a wetsuit is not good. Thank you very much for your attention Jorge

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello JORGE, yes this item will stretch. If your in between sizes then you can go down a size and it will contour around your body better and give you a better fit.

  • KAREN:

My son is looking for something to wear under a Mardi Gras costume that will keep him dry so that he is not so cold if they are jumping into water and then getting back on horseback to continue riding.

Bob  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

This suit is not designed to keep the user dry. Unfortunately suits like that are among the most expensive items a diver can purchase. For info on alternate products please contact our instructors at info@scuba.com

  • Sean:

I live in Hawaii and I need sun protection snorkeling and SUPing. I am looking at this suit or one like the Akona Polyolefin 1mm. I want something that will last well. Which would you prefer? Is the 1mm just too warm?

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Sean, surfing and snorkeling in Hawaii I would go with the Ocean Quest skin. It's a lighter weight material and will dry faster then the 1 mm Akona.

  • Jason:

Wanting to buy a dive skin for our 1st dive. I could use some help with the sizing for all of us. The three sizes are as follows. Myself: Chest 44", Waist 37" and 58" tall Wife: Chest 37", Waist 39" hips 44". 55" tall Brother: Chest 44", Waist 40" and 59" tall. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks, Jason

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Jason, 1st size is Large 2nd size is Medium 3rd size is XLarge

  • arthur:

im 52" with a 42 inch chest and 33" waist. I go back and forth from large to medium. My Bare (Elastek 5mm) wet suit is a MLShort ( https://www.scuba.com/resources/sizechart/bare_wetsuit_1.htm ) and is tight in the shoulders and chest. what size dive skin would you recommend. Can the arms and legs be shortened? I live in michigan and dive wet and dry. I would appreciate your advice. Art

Bob  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

The dive skins are a great deal more elastic than the wetsuits are. I''d go with the medium based on your sizing. They are fabric, so can be altered if need be by any seamstress or tailor.
