i found the front entry zip access convenient. the thermoprene is a good combination of flexibility and warmth. i own the henderson 5mm hyperstretch too and the comfort between the 3mm thermoprene and the 5mm hyperstretch are on par. i bought the shorty for snorkeling and swimming in hawaii. i typically go to the windward side like kailua beach and usually during the winter months, so a shorty with some thermal protection will be great. in the past i used rash guards only, but with the wind, a wet rash guard gets very cold.
overall henderson is a great brand for wetsuits. you cant go wrong with them. they are also one of the few brands with a good line of kids wetsuits too.
my only negative comment regarding the wetsuit is that the front access zipper isnt too flattering however, im ok with it since i enjoy the easy access.

was just recently on a scuba boat for a week on Great Barrier Reef. This shorty fit me like a glove. Absolutley loved it!! If you are doing some warm water diving and looking for a great shorty then this is the one. I got several compliments about this wetsuit. Putting it one was a breeze and when my dive buddy said come lets get ready to dive - I was always the first one suited up as he tried to get his back zip shorty on. Highly recommend this. the only draw back was that when I took it off I need help getting it pass my elbow. But I still loved the ease of getting in and out of this awesome wetsuit. BTW 3 mil in 86 degreee water it was awesome since I was doing 5 to 6 dives a day. Get this wetsuit over all the competition.

finally, i found the perfect wetsuit for flatwater kayakers. the shorty comfortably covers your entire "core" and the full front zipper is a dream to get in and out of. havent had a chance yet to do an intentional water test thatll have to wait until early march. bought the suit for warmth and safety in the event of an accidental roll-over. love the feel and color!

Just returned from an awesome dive trip in Beqa Lagoon Fiji, this shorty wetsuit rocks. Perfect for the Fijian waters, loved the zip through left leg. Comfy on deck, easy off and on. 007 would wear this wetsuit.

Tried the suit today and it was perfect. The front zip makes it convient to take on and off and just in case you gotta go in the water.

This wetsuit is made for convenience. No muss no fuss. No need for a second person to zip you up. The front zip is a perfect concept and design. I expect to have many happy years with this one.

I love this wetsuit. Easy to get on, easy to get off. Fits perfect and lots of stretch. I also like the Pink striping.
