I thought that this product would be good for my 3 year old daughter to help her stay boyant in the pool that we attend which is a 1 to 4 foot deep pool. Umfortunately, this suit caused her to bob out to deeper water where she would become boyant. Once she got beyond where she could reach the bottom with her feet she could not maintain an upward floating posture but was instead floated horizontally. As she wiggled to right herself she would roll from her front to her back in the water at times putting her face down. I believe this suit might be great to help those who know how to swim but have limited strength, but it is not safe at all for children who have no swiming abilities. I rate it a 2 for my child but I can see how this suit could be very helpful to others.
