This is my favorite wetsuit. I really like the zippers at the neck, wrists and ankles. The knees and elbows have a pre-shaped and very comfortable. I would recommend this wetsuit to all my dive buddies.

Rating: Excellent, quality wetsuit

Waterproof wetsuits are some of the best on the market. Difficult to find in your local dive shop (in the midwest US) to try on. The measurement guidelines are quite accurate however the W2s run a little big. Consider buying a size smaller than your fitted measurements. I bought the 5 mm an it has allowed comfortable diving in water temps from 60-80 degree water. The wrist, ankle, and neck seals minimize those bone chilling trickles that you get in other wetsuits. The W2 is also very constructed to resist abrasions. Overall, this is definitely worth the expense!

Rating: Excellent Wetsuit

This wetsuit has excellent flexibility at the joints and is very easy to swim in. One of the best wetsuits I have ever worn. Kept me extremely warm even at 100 feet down in the winter. From personal experience, I would recommend getting a size smaller than usual (usually wear XL-2XL and needed a Large tall W2). Highly recommend this wetsuit.

Questions and Answers for Waterproof 5mm W2 Wetsuit:

  • Evy:

Does this have a back least zipper? Where is the entry? It states that it has a zipper in the neck to relief stress. Is it a front entry thru the neck only? How long is the entry?

Bob  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

This is a typical back-zip suit. As stated, the zipper in the front is for comfort to alleviate some of the tightness around the neck while at the surface.

  • Paul:

I metal detect would like something to keep me comfortaable in five to six foot of water especialy in spring and fall. what kind do u think is best

Darrick  (Certified Scuba Instructor at Scuba.com):

Hello Paul, if you are going to be standing in water temp below 60 degree I would go with a 7mm suit if you are in temp over 60 degrees then yes a 5mm suit would work for your needs.
