Nice suit for the money. I had lost weight so there was too much room in the chest area so I had to send it back. Its easy to put on. Knee pads are a little flimsy...like stickers...but everything else was fine. I got a size 12 when I returned the other one and that fit everywhere except was tight in the crotch. Im keeping it but wish it was a little longer in the torso.

My girlfriend and I both bought one of these for our trip to Grand Cayman in early December 2011. I have the 3mm version of this suit and have done about 40 dives in it and have been very happy with it. I decided to buy the 5mm version for slightly colder, winter diving. Ive done 17 dives in it so far and the suit is holding up very well. It feels slightly tighter than the 3mm version but I think thats just the extra thickness of the 5mm. I recommend this suit...great value for the price.

first of all: this is not a high end product, but i dont think it gets any better for this kind of price. i am very happy with it so far. the suit is stretches well and is relatively easy to get on and off (this was very important to me). stitching seems ok... but i dont own the suit long enough to see how long-lasting this is, or how effective the thin knee protectors are. but then, this suit only needs to last 3 seasons in order to be a great deal...
as often mention in other reviews, the velcro tab for closing the back is a complete misconstruction (sticks way too easy to the inside of the suit). the protruding half of it is also flimsy, and ripped off during my first use... however, this made it actually more functional -).
overall, i highly recommend this suit, especially for the budget oriented diver, as well as for divers who think a 5 mm suit would be handy even though they dont expect super-heavy use of it.

I love this suit. I am a plus size woman, I am 5/6" and approximately 220 lbs. I needed a wetsuit to dive in the Aegean Sea and I just could not afford to purchase a plus size women wetsuit. After speaking with one of the dive instructors I decided to purchase a mans wetsuit because to be honest I thought it would fitn after looking over the size chart. After I received this wetsuit it fit perfectly. My only problem is that the legs and arms are about 2 inches too long but I can live with that. The suit has plenty of stretch and give to accommodate a womens size 16/18.

Ive made 7 dives now in this suit and couldnt br happier with my purchase. My dives have been in 74 to 77 degree water and was extremely comfortable. It is very easy to get on and off. I could have spent alot more money, but dont think I would be any happier.

Will be used in March. Seems like just want I need for additional warmth. Believe I will be able to move freely. Only downside is the kneepad which is lacking. Was not willing to pay the price for a thicker pad. Great price for what you get.

Ordered via phone and Darrick asked a couple of questions regarding size and use, and recommended this suit. It fit my price range, fit perfectly on arrival and I made my first dive with it in 80 deg. water(Gulf of Mexico). It was easy to get on and off, and was comfortable for the water temp, though I feel I could go quite a bit colder and still be comfortable. Only problem was the velcro on collar, make sure it is clear before donning suit, tends to stick to inner liner. Im 511" 205lb,xtra lg. short fit perfectly.

I have a Henderson 3 ml Hyperstretch shorty and I found the XSPAN 5ml jumpsuit to stretch almost as much. I do find my shorty a little more generous in the torso length though which I appreciate better. You need to be careful with the velcro of course given the material. All in all, I like my new 5ml jumpsuit.

Rating: 24 dives in Bonaire 19hrs underwater
Reviewer: Kevin S., Monday, May 11, 2009
This suit worked well for me. Ive done 28 dives in a 3mm
in Bonaire 4years ago but now I wanted abit more warmth.
This suit does not have any aditional knee pading/protection.I had to be carful on my entry and exits
in strong surf. The coral and volcanic rock is quite abrasive and sharp.I was used to my 3mm having heavy knee pading.I have a total knee replacement and being able to
kneel on my good knee can be verry helpful in these situations. The suit fit well it slid right on. wet on wet worked best for me.Wrist and ankle seals worked better than my other suits. All in all good for recreation.
