Rating: Thermoprene wetsuit
Reviewer: Cindy C., Tuesday, September 04, 2007
I was impressed with the thermoprene wetsuit when I tried it on. I already use the Henderson hyperflex and love it. The marketing made it sound as though the thermoprene would not be quite as flexible as the hyperflex but I found it equally as easy to get into. The knee pads are much more flexible. I was looking for a wetsuit that could be used windsurfing and surfing and the thinner knee is very appealing. The velcro from the neck does not stick to the thermoprene like it does to the hyperflex, which I have found to be the only drawback to the hyperflex. I purchased the 5mm as I get chilled very easily. I have not used the suit yet but I am very happy with the fit and expect it will perform as well as the other Henderson wetsuit I use. Scuba.com made it very easy to exchange sizes as I use smaller sizes in these flexible suits. The size and cut of the Hyperflex and thermoprene seem to be the same.
