Rating: i totally love this snorkel
Reviewer: Jennifer Benson, Wednesday, June 16, 2010
this snorkel is SO good. I had one for several years that I loved and used a lot, but when I pulled it out of storage this time, it seemed to have molded or something. So I immediately bought another of the exact same type! Still, when we were in Hawaii, I decided to give a different snorkel a try... the snorkelbob snorkel that you see the stores for in hawaii. Literally, two minutes after trying the other snorkel, I was running back to the beach to grab the TUSA. I must say though that my husband absolutely hates this snorkel... he says the flexible side makes it too difficult and creates a pulling sensation. To each his own!

Rating: the greatest snorkel made

I have to admit I use my snorkel for swimming in the pool. It is wonderful. It is light weight and no water gets in. I just love it. I will never use anything else again. Highly recommended.

Rating: TUSA Hyperdry Evolution III - No BS Assesment
Reviewer: Donald A. Dutcher, Sunday, September 14, 2008
THE FACTS: This snorkel is well made and looks good. The mouth piece is very comfortable and the purge valve is cleared with very little effort. It also has the shield on the tube to help keep water out of the barrel. MY TWO CENTS: I bought one of these snorkels for my girlfriend, who had never snorkelled before so of course I test & evaluated it too. It worked so well for her that I got one for my sister who was also a novice snorkeler. I liked it so much that I later bought a third one for myself. I do feel that a J-style snorkel with no purge is a better choice for those who are more serious about their snorkelling. BOTTOM LINE: If you are a casual snorkler who is going to swim around on the surface and you dont want to get a mouth full of water, give this snorkel a try.

Rating: Not "DRY"
Reviewer: Shaun Ellis, Sunday, August 12, 2007 - View all my reviews
There really cant be a "dry" snorkle, this one is ok, it takes some more effort to clear, but breaths really well, also stays up good when on surface. I would not look for another just because Im a diver not a snorkler.

Excellent snorkel. Extremely easy to clear and quick disconnect allows freedom to swivel, yet is easy to detach and re-attach. The flexible hose is the perfect length and is comfortable to bend to reach your mouth but stays out of the way when youre not using it.

Rating: Its Great
Reviewer: Carolyn S., Monday, March 05, 2007
Ive had trouble in the past with snorkels. I have a small mouth and always got a lot of jaw fatigue. This snorkel has a great flexible neck and also swivels on the keeper.
I used this snorkel on my last dive vacation where we did a lot of shore diving. It was so comfortable and dry that when I went to dive I forgot it was in my mouth and didnt exchange for my reg. Got a mouth full of water and felt quite stupid - but the snorkel is great!

Rating: Not bad, but could have done better
Reviewer: Scott Furman, Wednesday, September 20, 2006 - View all my reviews
Im satisfied enough with this mask that I will keep it and continue to use it. It provides decent visibility (although not as wide a field of view as I expected or have experienced with other masks), comfort and a good seal around my face. However, if I had it to do over again, Id get a different mask, probably a 3 window mask...
