i wish i had this snorkel in 1980 when i got certified and use to dive a lot. its great, ive only been using it in the pool mostly, every time i submerge then surface you have no water at all you dont even have to bite down hard on the mouth piece the mouth piece is also comfortable. i brought it on my brothers boat one day and used it in the bay and again no problem. the clip that comes with it to attach to your mask strap is also easy to do.

took it to hawaii last week, and it performed flawlessly while snorkeling. no water whatsoever when diving beneath the surface. purge valve worked perfect, and the swivel ball joints were a welcome feature for customer-adjustment of the angle and fit to mouth. also, the flex portion of snorkel allowed the mouthpiece to away from the mouth and out of the way of my face, when not in use. it also appeared to be larger diameter than most snorkels that i saw others wearing, which means that it passes more air than other brands, making it easier to breathe.

since I am new to scuba I have not exprienced any variety in my dives but so far this snorkel is just as described DRY which is just what I wanted

Used the XS Scuba 3D Dry Flex Snorkel on my vacation in Hawaii last week. It was comfortable and ideal for snorkeling the clear bays!
