Rating: Works Like a Charm

My wife raved about the snorkel. Easy to clear if you did get some H2O in there, but for the most part, stayed dry for her all week in Aruba. Her only complaint was that every now and again, the baffle would stick just slightly. All she had to do was move her head a bit and it would open. It didnt happen all the time. She said it really didnt impede her swimming. I recommend highly. Great product, great price.

The snorkel works great, keeps water out for easy use. One problem inherent in the type of hard plastic mask mounting clip is they are not forgiving. We broke the clip on both snorkels on first use. Buy a silicone snorkel keeper, it will save the hassle. The clip is sold with a number of snorkels, so it is not just an xs scuba brand problem.

Rating: They call it dry... it is

Eight dives later, I admit to getting exactly one mouthful of sea water with this snorkel. I also admit it was my own fault for forgetting to clear it before I sucked in after switching from my regulator. I *really* like how it will simply plug instead of letting you inhale water. They call it a dry snorkel, and I attest to the fact!

Rating: Not my top pick

This snorkel worked well for keeping water out, except a few time this happened. The flapper that blocks out the water would close, making it unable to breath. Id have to blow out alittle then take a breath. This might be common to dry snorkels not sure this is my first one. Im going to try out a semi-dry one.

I actually just sent this snorkel back to be exchanged. After 15-20 breaths, water would somehow get into the snorkel! It would start to gurgle, then you would need to clear it.
Everything else we ordered was awesome!!

This snorkel seemed to work well. I havent had a chance to use it a lot yet. It works well well on the surface and when I dove below the surface it didnt fill with water. The purge valve worked well too.

not so great as a "dry" snorkel the snorkels we bought for $15 at academy for our sons worked just as well. so we do not consider that this snorkel was worth the $30 we paid for it.

We got 2 snorkels...the first one needed to be sent back for exchange....it kept leaking. The other snorkel worked beautifully! Havent had the chance to test the new one.

I love the Sedona Dry Snorkel. I have been using it for snorkeling and diving and have had no problems with it. It was a great value in a totally dry snorkel.
